A very interesting tour and learnt a lot - We had Armine as our guide and he was really lovely. It was our last day in Morocco and a perfect way to finish our stay. I particularly liked the no shopping part rather it was very much a historical/cultural tour of Fes. Armine was very knowledgeable but more importantly it didn’t feel like we were being talked at all the time and felt like we had made a friend. Thanks so much Armine!

Wonderful cultural tour of Fez - This was a wonderful and thoughtful tour. Mohammad took the time to explain the history of Fez, gave us great insight as to the daily lives of people in Morocco, and he was professional and kind. This was a cultural tour and we got to see all the beautiful sites of Fez. We saw a panoramic view of Fez, walked around the medina, saw the oldest University in the world, and got to learn that Fez founded the first mental health hospital in the world. We love to learn and this tour did not disappoint. It exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, Mohammad was true to his word, this was NOT A SHOPPING TOUR. We appreciated this so much because my only criticism about Fez was the constant pushiness of unqualified tour guides. Mohammad was professional and focused on the history and culture and never once took us to a shop to purchase anything. He had the right pace when we walked around the city, which allowed me to take a crazy amount of photos and to take our time browsing the buildings and stores. He answered all of our questions and was patient with us when we wanted more time to explore a site. I highly recommend Mohammad. We felt safe, learned a lot, and most importantly, we felt like we made a new friend.

FEZ TOUR - Médina/New City - Highly, highly recommend this tour! Our guide Mohammed was kind, calm, and very knowledgeable. He customized the tour to our interests and dealt patiently with all of our questions (and there were a lot!). We never felt rushed and we also felt comfortable and looked after. He helped negotiate deals for our souvenirs and took us to the best places for what we were interested in purchasing. Besides the amazing “stops”, (tannery, market, ceramic factory, wood work and weaving shop, etc) I think what I will remember the most is his willingness to share his culture, family stories and humor. His English is superb, and if you like- you can practice your Italian and French as he is fluent in those languages as well! He was also helpful in planning the rest of our trip - took us to train station and assisted us in locating a hotel for Chefchaouen. This allowed us to relax and thoroughly enjoy the day with him. Hands down the best tour! You won’t regret this booking.

Guided tour of Fez Médina and new city - We had an amazing experience exploring the Fez Médina and some of the new city with our guide, Mohammed. He was so knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to be around. The Médina is a maze and there are many people that will try to offer you tours. However, you can not trust everyone that approaches you. Mohammed ensured that we were given fair prices, purchased authentic, quality products without feeling pressured and did not have to worry about getting lost in the maze of the Médina. I highly recommend hiring Mohammed to get the ultimate experience in Fes.

MUST DO - We booked this tour with Mohammed via email before arriving in ages. He was absolutely lovely! He was incredibly knowledge about all the attractions in fes. In addition, he took the time to customize our fes tour, and split it up across two days (as we requested). He gave great directions to foreign tourists who clearly were lost, out of the kindness of his own heart. Ask for Mohammed next time you’re in fes!

Not an insightful tour. - After reading how intimidating the medina of Fez is, I was excited to book a tour to have some of the nooks and crannies of this 'crazy' place explained. This tour wasn't that. Mohammed just walks you down the main tourist drag of the medina from one major sight to the next and narrates a couple dates and events. He didn't offer any insight into the items the stalls were selling, daily life in the medina, and only ventured off the main drag when I asked. He also seemed to be pushing his other tours as well, suggesting we needed to take a day trip to Chefchaouen and Merzouga when we already had other plans. The medina is well-lit, safe, clean and SO not scary as guidebooks would have you believe. Save yourself 80 Euro(!!) (for two people) and hit the street yourself.
