Excellent tour with real local - Excellent experience. Hakim was a great local guide. Learned a lot about and tried a lot of food. We booked a private tour, and they were reasonably priced and very accommodating. It was the perfect first night. Highly recommend.

Best use of our time in Fes! - This Fes food tour was the best use of our short stay in Fes, as it was a walking tour + food tour all-in-one. Our guide Hakim was highly professional and an expert at navigating the maze of the Fes medina. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours and was extremely thorough, and included so much food that we had to pack some up for later. We hit all the popular spots in the Medina (including a stop at the Chouara tannery with an excellent view), as well as many hidden gems along the way (including the best mint tea we had in all of Morocco).

Incredible food tour of Fes with Fatima - It wasn't easy to find a food tour of Fes, so I was very happy to find that this company had a specialty food tour. We were lucky to get Fatima as our guide - Fatima is a Instagram and Youtube celebrity, which we found out when she was recognized by a pair of tourists who asked if they could join our tour once they saw it was her! She took us around the medina to so many delicious stops to try a little bit of everything - fresh pomegranate juice, Moroccan pancakes and semolina cakes, snails, cactus fruit, nougat, delicious grilled meat sandwiches, nuts and dates, a dried beef confit, roasted chestnuts, the most amazing donuts we've ever eaten, and a tasty almond milkshake, from what I can remember off the top of my head. We learned so much about Moroccan food and culture and found this to be a lovely way to learn more about Fes while eating what was ultimately our dinner - we were absolutely stuffed by the end! Fatima was kind enough to walk us back to our riad at the end of the tour. We loved our tour with her and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Thrilled with our experience - We were absolutely thrilled with our experience. Fatima was a perfect guide - friendly and knowledgeable. She is an absolute gem!!!! The food and people she introduced us too were fantastic. I don't know how we would have navigated the Medina without her.

Meeting Fatima was like catching up with an old friend while eating delicious food - The Fes food tour was a highlight of our short time in the city. Fatima was our local food guide and she was absolutely amazing. She's knowledgeable about not only food and the heritage of Moroccan cuisine but she also gave us an informed historical and cultural lens to understand life in the old Medina, modern life in Fes, and Morocco in general. Fatima is also easy to talk to, laugh with, and finds no question too tedious! Spending the afternoon and evening with her is like spending time with an old friend. She made us feel at ease and had we known that she is available for other kinds of tours, we would have booked more time with her! Fatima also shares our love of cooking and helpfully described how we might achieve some of the same Moroccan flavors back at home in our own kitchen. We tried all the delights of the Medina (fresh juices, street foods, sweets, pancakes, soup, dates, etc) and learned about the practice of the communal ovens before eating an enormous and beautifully prepared dinner at a local restaurant. Being with her during Ramadan also gave us a chance to learn more about the observance, the Muslim identities unique to Morocco and the diversity and influences of Berber/Imazighen, Jews, Arabs, and other populations that continue to shape the country today. We had an amazing time and would wholeheartedly recommend eating your way through the Medina with Fatima. ☺️

Great tour with Fatima! - My husband and I booked an evening food tour during Ramadan on our first night in Fes. Fatima was our guide and she was wonderful - very knowledgeable and so accommodating! It became clear that everyone in the Medina at our stops knew her and tried to make up for things not available due to it being Ramadan and us being late at the start. Thanks for everything!

Great food tour! - We’re really grateful we had Fatima leading our tour. Fatima is easy to talk to and introduced us to good local food in the market. In addition, she chose great places for us to visit where we were able to feel comfortable without merchants pushing us to buy anything, which is so rare to find in Morocco. We got a lot a lot a lot of food so be ready to eat, and in general, when eating in street food in any country, make sure your stomach is up to it b/c it’s not always the cleanest.

Recommend - Tour guide was excellent. Good value for the money. Loved dinner at family style home cooking restaurant. Could have done without apothecary presentation. To long.
