A simple but efficient course on nice Moroccan pastries in the rooftop of a beautiful hostel at the center of Fes. Thank you for - I went to visit the hostel rooftop and prepared some dishes with a local cook. We visited a traditional shared oven and I got to prepare citrus small puffs and semoule bread

Baking with Dada and Abdul - We had the personable Abdul and amazing Dada guide us through the baking of traditional semolina bread and coconut biscuits on the gorgeous rooftop of the Palais Amani. We visited the communal baking oven in the streets of the Medina where the bread was baked. Abdul explained the history behind the chef’s status in society and the history of the products we baked. Dada showed us her expert technique which we desperately tried to emulate. The bread on the head through the Medina was a skill to behold! We savoured our creations in the beautiful gardens of Palais Amani with the gracious tea master who showed us how to make, present and pour a glass.

Cooking at its best in Fes - Loubma and her team are so special. We are 4 women who signed up for Riad Amani' cooking school. We made bread and cookies. A wonderful afternoon. Lots of laughter and made tasty food. Highly recommend. 5***. .

Great Moroccan bake off - An absolutely fabulous location to spend a couple of hours or so learning to make some Moroccan treats. A glass or two of mint tea and then we were introduced to our instructor (Wafa) and our host. Facilities were perfect and the class was both fun and instructive. An added bonus was taking the bread to the community bakery to be baked. Getting to see how that facility worked was fascinating. Whist leaving the bread to bake, we returned to the Palais Amani for more tea and then back to the kitchen to make coconut & lemon cakes. Returning to the bakery to collect the finished bread and one final round of mint tea whilst we waited for the cakes. This really is a beautiful location with super people who made the afternoon so rewarding.

Baking Workshop - We had so much fun! Class with Usama was really easy to follow and Loubna was great - we fully loved the whole experience. Seeing where the bread was made in the communal oven and then enjoying tea after with Bamohamed was a pleasure. I imagine the cooking class would be even better, we’re so glad we spent the afternoon with them!

Very professional - My fiancee and I stopped by for the baking workshop and thought it was very professionally run. The location is beautiful on a nice day and the experience informative! I'd recommend taking the class if you're looking for how to make the bread you eat at every meal!
