Highlights

Fes - Middle Atlas Mountains - The Sahara Desert

Merzouga Desert - Embark on an incredible journey into the Middle Atlas Mountains, with the first stop being Ifrane. Continue through the vast cedar forests near the Berber village of Azrou, known as The Rock in the local Berber dialect, where the famous Barbary apes, actually macaque monkeys, might try to share your lunch in their natural habitat. As you traverse the Atlas Mountains, believed to hold up the sky, you’ll wind through forested peaks, twisting mountain streams, springs, and stunning, rugged rock walls. Arrive at the significant town of Rissani on the edge of the Sahara, and then head further south to witness the magical appearance of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. At the base of the dunes, your Kasbah/hotel awaits with hot sweet tea. Relax after the long journey and enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by traditional Berber music until it’s time to sleep.

Share in the Beauty of the Sahara Desert

Merzouga Desert - After breakfast, choose your own desert adventure; perhaps a walk through the vast dunes of Erg Chebbi or a refreshing swim in the hotel pool. At dusk, your camel will be ready to take you on an unforgettable ninety-minute trek through the shifting desert sands into the glorious sunset, arriving at a traditional Berber desert camp to spend the night in a tent surrounded by towering dunes. Your guide will prepare an authentic Moroccan meal while you relax, stargaze, and listen to the soothing sounds of traditional Berber music. A truly unforgettable day.

Merzouga - Marrakech or back to Fes

Jemaa el-Fnaa - Start early to witness the breathtaking dawn over the sand dunes, then gently ride your camel back to your kasbah hotel for breakfast. During the ride, observe the shifting and changing shadows cast by the dunes. After breakfast, continue your journey to Marrakech or return directly to Fes.

Amazing Desert Tour, and helpful operator given itinerary differed from description - The desert tour was truly a once in a lifetime experience - the tents were very nice (private bathroom/shower), and the food was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend the ATV in the desert, even though it’s an extra 50 euro - that was the highlight of our trip. As a heads up, the itinerary is different than the description: you make several stops, including the Atlas film studio and Ourzazate, which we hadn’t wanted. That said, when we reached out to our operator, he graciously provided us private transport so we could get to Marrakech ASAP and maximize our stay there. it’s on you to communicate with the tour provider, but if you reach out they are happy to accommodate you.

A dive into authentic Moroccan inner country - If you do not have many days, this is the perfect trip to visit Maroc between the marvelous Fes and Marrakech. We passed the Atlas mountains and visited several Berber authentic villages. Arriving to the desert, camels were just waiting, taking us to an unforgettable dinner and night in a Berber tent. The guide was always attentive to our requests and ready to stop to the most panoramic points. I strongly recommend Fès Desert Trip.

An amazing Desert tour - It was an amazing Desert tour that I ever had. We rode camel from Merzouga to Erg Chebbi Dunes over an hours to the luxury tent during sunset and stayed overnight. The tent was unexpected so comfortable and we had chance to see many stars in dark desert. The sunrise in the desert was beautiful and riding back was fascinating. We had a professional driver who drove all the way safety annd make us felt relax. Nabil is responsible and helpful guy and we are very happy with him for arranging our 3 days private tour.

Best part of our ten day trip! - My, my husband and our adult son spent 10 days in Morocco in June 2023. This 3 day tour was by far our favorite time in Morocco. Hassan was our driver and he was amazing. We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. My favorite part was the tour through the town in the desert. This is a family business and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We also LOVED the hotel in the Dades valley. They met our every need and were so hospitable. I can't recommend this company enough.

Family trip 3 days 2 night in Luxury Camp. - Nabil booked us a 3 days 2 nights Madih our private driver was exceptional. We stopped anywhere and he was able to guide us around with a great smile and kindness. We hadn’t received our luggages Casablanca and after a long trip from Merzouga he agreed to drop the family to Marrakech than drove me to Casablanca airport and back to pick up the missing luggages. A long drive of 5 hours. I’m forever grateful. Book this company, they are great.

Best way to discover Morocco & the Sahara desert - Everything was amazing. Nabil is very nice. Camal (the driver) and Nabil were fluent in Spanish and did everything they could to make our trip through the desert beautiful. In Fes they have a great Riad, called Colors. I recommend staying there for at least one night.
