- Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays. Dolmabahce Palace will be visited instead.

- For the cruise passengers public transportation (tram) is strongly recommended due to heavy traffic in/around the old city. By the tram the old city takes only 10 minutes. Please book the tour accordingly

Would recommend- tour is as described - Can was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Just as described and trustworthy. We did a 2 day tour. The first day was fantastic you see a lot. On the second day you don’t see as much and I would probably only stay on the Asian side for a lot less time, since there is nothing really there and we spent too much time just walking around with nothing to see. Maybe include something else. We then still had a very long lunch as we were early for the boat tour. Pre tour communications was a bit slow up until 1 day before. I would also recommend that if somebody wants to go to a specific restaurant let them - we were told it would take up too much time to go where I preferred, but ended up still having over 1 hour lunch with the guide which is quite long.

A marvellous way to explore Istanbul over three days - I don’t typically leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for this tour. I booked the three-day option and was lucky enough to be assigned Emre Aygun as my guide. The itinerary over the three days was excellent and comprehensive as it is, taking in almost all of the must-see places in Istanbul, but Emre really elevated the whole experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, obviously passionate about his work, personable and a very nice man. It was my first time in Türkiye and I am so happy I had such a great host to explore beautiful Istanbul.

Our guide Emel was very... - Our guide Emel was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Even after the tour she shared several ideas about rest of our stay which came in handy.

Great guide and responsive agency - Overall, a great experience! Communication with the agency was great. I asked for a female guide and they paired me with Rumeysa. She was knowledgeable, fun, and very attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together!

A perfect two day tour - Emel was an excellent guide. We spent two days experiencing some incredible sights, tastes and smells of Istanbul. With so many tourists all trying to see the same sights, it was so nice to have someone there to move things when necessary, suggest activities, and help us navigate transportation. It really allowed us to hit the ground running. Emel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about history, culture, food and social information.

Fantastic 2-day Tour of Istanbul - We enjoyed a terrific 2 day tour (not long enough!) of Istanbul with our amazing guide Emre Aygun. Emre began our tour with a boat trip on the Bosporus where he oriented us to this intriguing city and provided us with invaluable historical background. He took us to “must see” sites including the
Suleymaniye Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia Museum, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque and the Chora Church as well as off the beaten path gems such as the Fener-Balat district.
Emre is an extremely well trained guide whose comprehensive historical and architectural knowledge and energetic exuberance made our tour a real joy. His cultural insights were an added bonus as were the great “hole-in-the-wall cafes he took us to and his picture- perfect advice on where to take the best photos. We could not have had a better guide!

Our Day in Istanbul - We had an AMAZING day exploring Istanbul with our guide Duygu. She was outstanding!!! Our tour was well planned and well communicated prior to arrival in port. It was also well organized from pickup to drop off at our cruise pier. In addition to all of the practical necessities what was as appreciated was her support and friendship. She was knowledgeable and conveyed history and insight in a manner that was interesting and easy to understand. We felt like we had a friend to guide and hold our hand as we maneuvered local transportation, negotiated ticket lines, toured historic sites and mosques, walked streets, ate lunch and shopped. We were shown the beauty of the city in one day.

Knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and an all around great guide - Burka was an excellent guide for my one day in Istanbul. So friendly, so knowledgeable, led me at my desired pace, and customized the tour for my interests. I would highly recommend him.

A Great Walking Tour with Emre - My wife and I had a great tour today with Emre as our guide. He was a wealth of knowledge, spoke impeccable english and a pleasure to spend a day with.
Emre met us promptly at 9:00 in the lobby of our hotel. We’re staying at DoubleTree Hilton Old Town which, as it turns out, is a good location to start the tour. We hit all the big sites, had a late lunch and Emre led us to a good spot to check out some Turkish Rugs that she had asked about. All in all a great day.

Beautiful and amazing - We were on a cruise with a 2 day stop in Istanbul and did a private tour with Emel both days …she was AMAZING ..we saw ,learned and did more then so many passengers even saw or did while here
…she worked with us on wants and needs ..time frame ..and took to amazing restaurants only locals would go to …(not only does she she know her history ..she is a foodie too ) if you need a guide in Istanbul
…she is your girl …
