Great tour guide - Our guide was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We hadn't planned to hire a guide, but we were very glad that we did, as it added a lot to our understanding and enjoyment of the Hagia Sophia. He did a great job of engaging and including our kids.

Perfectly tailored tour - We had a superb time with Muhammet. We were more than happy to spend time discussing, theorising and debating all aspects of the history of the area and its people prior to entering the Hagia Sophia. Absolutely fabulous! - We had Muhammet as our guide to Hagia Sophia private tour. We were among the first to enter in the morning when gates opened - an experience we would highly recommend - to enjoy the amazing building before it gets crowded! Private day tour of Istanbul - I was fortunate to find Muhammet through trip advisor and contacted him through WhatsApp about a private day tour of Istanbul. On the months leading up to our trip I would message him with any questions and he was always so helpful with anything I needed. Additionally, once we were in Istanbul he was able to connect with me different tour guides for Cappadocia as he is so well connected in the industry. My Mum wasn’t in Istanbul long so we wanted to do as much possible in a day and I’m so happy I chose to do so with Muhammet as our guide. He’s well traveled, extremely intelligent, friendly, humorous, and gives such detailed history that you feel so immersed in what you are seeing. Istanbul has such a long and rich history that if you haven’t read up on it before traveling it can be a lot to comprehend, before starting the tour he gave some background history on Turkey which I think my Mum found very helpful. We did Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazar and an evening ferry ride to the Asian side for sunset. I’ve traveled all over the world and always choose a private guide, Muhammet is hands down the best guide I’ve ever had for a tour. Don’t hesitate to contact him for your tour!

Excellent experience! - Our tour guide, Muhammet was awesome!! He was very friendly and extremely informative. He has such a passion for thr history of Turkey and the Hagia Sophia! It really showed in his presentation! He also cared about our time and what we wanted to see and his English is very clear! I would highly recommend him as a tour guide and would highly recommend seeing the Hagia Sophia which is really beautiful and awe inspiring!

Amazing Istanbul tour! - This was my first time to Istanbul, so I decided to book a guide for a day to really understand and learn about the city as well as seeing all the main sites. I booked Mohammad on a friend’s recommendation. He is a good communicator and it was easy to set the tour up. He met me on time, outside the Hagia Sophia, as we had agreed. Everyone knows him and I immediately felt comfortable and safe. I appreciated that he was respectful, friendly, easy to talk to, and he has a good sense of humor! We started out as I had requested with a big Turkish breakfast and coffee, while Mohammad told me about the history, geography and importance of Istanbul and Turkey through the centuries. He is very knowledgeable and told me the history in a way that made it easy to understand and relevant to what we were seeing! After breakfast, we started by visiting some rooftop views of the mosques and the city, a tour of the inside of the Hagia Sophia, the basilica cistern, the hippodrome, and the Grand bazaar. Mohammad bought me food and drinks to try as we went around the city, as well as showing me how to use the trams and ferries to see the other parts of the city. We ended the day with a ferry trip to the Asian continent to see the sunset over the city from a (popular with locals) hilltop view. it was a the perfect way to end the day. I can’t recommend Mohammed highly enough! Don’t hesitate to book his guiding services, it is the best way to get to know Istanbul!

A great history lesson - We are a family of 6 from Hungary and our guide, Muhammet was kind and has great knowledge of their history, culture and also the Islamic religion. The tour was very informative and we could learn a lot of interesting facts about Hagia Sophia because of him. I would definitely recommend a private tour, especially with Muhammet.

The best of Türkiye in a guide - The best way to know a country is through its people and Muhammet is the best ambassador that Türkiye could have. He is kind, reliable and super generous. He was already waiting in the front of the line at the Hagia Sophia so that I was one of the first to enter despite the long line. He is highly knowledgable and able to narrate the story in an interesting way. After the tour he took me to meet the locals (most of them his friends) and I had a wonderful experience shopping and connecting with them over local tea. LOVED IT!!

Muhammet star of the show - There is no better guide in Istanbul than Muhammet. Such attention to detail, explaining everything to perfection and such a gentleman. We’ve done other tours before but it is so mich better to have a dedicated tour guide like him because everything is tailor made to your liking. The whole experience was amazing. It’s a must if you are in Istanbul!! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. I highly recommend Muhammet for all your tours whilst in Istanbul. He was also kind enough to provide pick up driver from airport.
