Brilliant guide full of history and tips!! - We met Nuri Erbay at the Basilica Cistern, and his tour was absolutely fantastic. He shared so many details you’d easily miss without a guide, with a wealth of truly interesting information. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to continue with him to Hagia Sophia and then the Hippodrome. He revealed so many secrets, offered fascinating historical corrections, and really brought everything to life. On top of that, he gave us great practical tips for our visit. Highly recommended! An Informative Tour of Basilica Cistern - During our stay in Istanbul we visited Basilica Cistern for a guided tour with Nuri. As a guided tour we were able to join the fast-track line and escape the long queues. Once inside, we received an informative 30-40 minute presentation on the history and construction of Basilica Cistern. I learned many interesting facts and was shown several details that I may have missed (or not understood) without the guided tour. Throughout the tour Nuri was very friendly and patient, giving us many opportunities to take photos. This place is a must visit in Istanbul, and I would highly recommend doing a tour with Nuri if you are interested in learning more about it's history and significance to the city of Istanbul.

Best tour guide in sultan ahmet - Nuri is such a genuine tour guide we didn’t have to wait in the Q at all ! He was informative he took the time to explain to us everything and he took really nice photos of me and my friend ! And he also helped us find the Dervish show which was amazing ….

Nuri makes this tour way better! - Having Nuri guide us made this visit way more interesting. First, because he is a licensed guide you can skip to the front of the line to buy tickets. Second, you could just wander around yourself but then you would miss a lot of architectural details and historical context that Nuri provided. He also took great photos of us and recommended a good shop to buy some Turkish scarves.

GREAT GUIDE! - GREAT GUIDE! He knows history and explained to us important corners and symbols which you would normally miss if you did not have a guide. Getting him cuts the line in buying the ticket too. All worth it! I already recommended him to 2 couples we met in cappadoccia who are going to Istanbul! Never miss the Basilica Cistern, it's a history which cannot be seen anywhere in the world except in Istanbul and you must never do it without Nuri!
