A wonderful way to spend a few hours & you get to see the Ria Formosa from a different perspective - The tour is the perfect length and takes you along different routes there & back so you see lots of the Ria Formosa. João had lots of interesting information about things along the Ria and we even saw flamingos! I would definitely recommend trying it out.

A wonderful salty experience - Wonderful experience! I did the kayak tour. The tour guide, João, very clearly explained (in English) the basics of operating a kayak, then many things about the lagoon, the tides and currents, local life tips and recommandations etc. The team and premises were on point. I booked from their booth on the port of Faro and I was very professionally received there as well. A wonderful salty experience from the beginning to the end ! Thank you again ❤️

Sup tour - Me and my husband just spent the most wonderful morning having Sup Tour with Instructor Melinho who gave us detailed lesson about using Sup, Portuguese culture and also provided us plenty of tips to enjoy our trip in Algarve. Can’t expect more!

SUP tour - Great teaching on how to use the SUP. Stop half way for a coffee and a swim- lovely! Definitely worth doing.

Paddle Board Faro - Rodolfo was a great instructor. Very friendly and helped us enjoy the experience. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try the paddle board.

Best morning! - Really great way to spend a morning! After booking, Salty Experience contacted me via WhatsApp to confirm location & quickly answered any questions. When we got there, we were given a small dry bag for our phones, and space to change/leave our bags. It was just me and my friend on the tour, and our guide took us through the basics of SUP before heading off for a casual paddle down the Ria Formosa, exploring some of the reserve. We stopped for a while to take some photos and enjoy the views before heading back. We were allowed to remain on the SUPs for a short while after returning & then could use the showers to wash off some of the sand. Wonderful experience, would totally do again!

Perfectly perfect! For a magical moment - The best experience ever! We booked a kayaking tour at 5pm for the evening on the same day - and everything was perfect! João was waiting for us on Faro beach, he has prepared the kayaks and stuff for the trip. He was kind, conscious and patient, putting our safety first, the best guide! The sunset was incredible and the moment memorable. Thank you so much, again and again. I highly recommend!

Good - Kids loved the trip. Guide was friendly and knowledgable. However, the group included stand up paddle boarders which slowed down my kids experience in kayaks. As a company I n future, do Kayaks or SUP - not both at the same time.
