- Old Town Faro - Come and discover the city like no other, meet us by the harbour’s garden (jardim Manuel Bivar). We start by showing you the old town stoping in the main points of interest we will tell you everything we know about the city and how it came to be.
- Ermida de Santo Antonio do Alto - We go to the highest point of Faro, st.Anthony chapel we stop and climb to the top of the old watchtower to enjoy the best view in town. 360º
- Capela dos Ossos - On the way back to downtown we pass in front of the iconic barroque church of Carmo (bone chapel). After we return to the same place we began the tour.

Excellent and personal trip - What a great trip we had! Joao was amazing and made the trip a truly memorable occasion. His knowledge of the area was outstanding and he took us to some great spots. The trip to the top of the tower gave us the most amazing views.

A beautiful meeting - Really a pleasant time and a great meeting. Joao knows his subject and shares his passion for history with us. A tuk tuk ride was a first for us which our guide made us appreciate. We also recommend we had the impression of being guided by Pierre Niney...

Come in my Tuktuk… - We went out with Joao this morning.
It must be said that he is keen on the history of the city and knows his subject.
He has humor, a very good level of French and we highly recommend visiting him.
The tuktuk is maintained, not super comfortable but so quirky, we loved it!
Don’t hesitate to ask him to stop and take photos or for him to take photos of you.
Go there with your eyes closed…

Fabulous all round tour … a “must do” if you visit Faro. - This was an excellent tour and one of the highlights of our holiday in the Algarve. The owner/guide Joao Batarda was first class … informative and entertaining. His English and historical knowledge of Faro were very good. This is a tour for 2 people so was perfect for me and my wife. Also, it was great value for money. Parking in Faro is not easy so seek guidance before driving into the city.

Besta City Tour in Faro - João, our guide and driver, was very attentive. He knew the whole story deeply, was very humorous and fun. It was the best CityTour I've ever done. I highly recommend it.

Great, informative tour! - Our driver (named John in English!) was amazing. Really knowledgeable and took us to places others don’t go. Great tour around all the interesting sites and stopped off for us when we wanted to spend a little extra time somewhere. Thoroughly recommend and good value for money!
