Great day out - This is the second time we have done a cooking class at Tra Que Vegetable Village. After trying to work out which one to do decided to go to Lemon Basil after being recommended by my friend Vy from past class. It was a great day spent with Jessica and family learning new recipies and being back in the Vegetable Village. So peaceful. The foot massage is what is needed after all the walking we have been doing and great job done by ladies and man. We would highly recommend people to come to lemon basil to do a cooking classas it is done in small groups at various times of the day and very patient with my poor skills. It was as good as our first time

A wonderful, memorable experience in the beautiful vegetable garden - I had a fantastic afternoon at the vegetable village. The place was so beautiful and peaceful and they show you the traditional way of farming in the garden. Uyen was a fantastic guide and taught me a lot about life and culture in Vietnam, which was a great and memorable experience to me. After a visit to a local market, we cooked spring rolls, papaya salad, fish and rice pancakes together. One of my highlights was the bicycle ride through the local rice fields. Overall this was one of the most authentic experiences in Vietnam so far and I strongly recommend it. It is a great opportunity to escape the busy cities and get some fresh air in the beautiful and quiet vegetable and flower gardens.

Fantastic Cooking and Farm Experience - We had a fun time planting some herbs in the garden, learning about the farm, and then enjoying a massage before cooking some delicious food. I really can't stress enough how Jessica's sense of humor and cleverness made our day really fun - she is a great host!

A very fun class - The class was fun, very hands-on and delicious. We learned how to make spring rolls, papaya salad, fish in a clay pot and pancakes and then we ate everything. The teacher spoke good English. We didn’t just watch. We chopped ingredients, cooked them and even flipped our own pancakes. I highly recommend.

Amazing tour!! 👌🏻👨‍🍳 - We got the pleasure of having Min for the first part of the tour. Although it was Mins first time guiding us through the market, she really did her best to give us information about the local produce. After the visit at the market we went bikeriding through the rice fields which was so nice! The second part of the tour was the cooking class and the farming. There we met up with Jessica. Jessica is wonderfull! She and her sister have a great sense of humor! We laughed so much and had the best time! The food is amazing, fingerlicking good actually!! We could eat their fish clay pot dish and the very crispy springrolls EVERY DAY! 😍 Overall we would highly recommend this class!! Keep up the good work!

Lemon & Basil Cookery- a must do in Hoi An - Jessica came & meet us at the hotel from Lemon & Basil Cookery & walked with us to the market to buy our local produce to cook. We didn't want to push bike so went in a golf cart to the farm, great fun. Everything was so well organised and the family (Aunties, Uncles etc) made everything a fun experience from working up the ground to trying to water the plants. We came inside had a foot massage, neck, shoulders & head. Then the cooking lesson started. We enjoyed this and sitting down to eat the local produce & what we had managed to cook. It was very hot for us in September but they had fans on & lots to drink if we needed it. Then a ride back to the hotel. Thoroughly recommend a fun, must do activity to do in Hoi An. Thankyou Jessica and family.

Most AMAZING experience!!! A must do!! - Had the most amazing time at the vegetable village. My mum & I did the local markets, bike riding, farming with the family, cooking lesson & foot massage. Half day afternoon tour starting at 1. It was the highlight of my visit to Vietnam. The family that runs this business is nothing short of beautiful. They all have fantastic sense of humours and had us laughing all day. Cooked some super delicious food and learnt some recipes I hope to take home to Australia. I would recommend this to anyone. They also altered the trip itinerary as my mum wasn’t confident riding a bike in busy streets but wanted to give it a go. So we walked to markets then were taking a quiet route to the village and it was perfect for mum.
