Cool experience - Dwayne ( insta: dwaynethompson352 ) is the absolute best!!!! He was our driver and id recommend him for this tour and any other tours that you will do in Jamaica! You wont regret it! The lights were awesome, the fire show blew my mind. The water is cold though so be warned :)

Breathtakingly beautiful - We had an incredible time! The bus driver and the guys working the boats were very informative and fun! The rum punch was delicious and the gentleman doing the fire show was very talented. The lagoon itself was a once in a lifetime experience that I would highly recommend Absolutely beautiful!

Nice experience in luminous lagoon - Luminous lagoon was very nice. Best advice that I can give you - jump in the water first from the boat. "Power" of bacterias (or what is that) is short. You will be in the water around 40 mins and that is more than enough. Boat staff are friendly (and waiting for gratitudes). General facility is nice, you have place to seat and thy give you a free cocktail (you can take more than one, at last I did). About the tour company. It was medium sized bus (30 people) that was ofc 30 mins late. They just take you to the facility that is different company (same one for everyone) and bring you back after. Driver is directly asking for tips.

Good Time - We had a good time. It was a bit chaotic when we arrived at the venue, but we enjoyed rum punch and the music while waiting for our turn to get on the boat. They gave us enough time out in the water to fully experience the phenomenon. We ended up buying the pictures and enjoying the after show before heading back to the hotel. We were a bit disappointed with the jerk chicken we bought there. The jerk chicken on the resort at Ocean Eden Bay was way better. Also, our driver was nowhere to be found when it was time to leave. Our group was like the last to leave. There was no apology or explanation given. Still, we enjoyed ourselves!

Luminescent lagoon: a must-do in Jamaica - This was a flabbergasted experience, and fortunately all conditions provided by the absence of a full moon and no rain ensured a complete visual sensation.

Not what I thought it would be. - It rained buckets the day before. It was a full moon the day we went to the Lagoon. Maybe this impacted the less than overwhelming luminescent. If the photographer takes your photo, it will appear a little luminescent, but to the naked eye, you are basically not seeing a darn thing. I would have thought the boat would have made luminescence, but it did not. Also it took the arm movement and great photo to show what you see in these pictures. It was NOT what I thought it would be. The muck under your feet is horrifying, lol but that is the environment for this awesome to grow (salt/fresh water mix). Again, great it's cheap for a trip, but pretty underwhelming.

Disappointed - Very disappointed with this activity, and that’s a first for me! When we get to the spot, the first thing the captain says is it’s 6 feet deep — the as failed to mention you need to be a good swimmer. We are not good swimmers AND we were all given free adult beverages before going out — adding to an unsafe situation. Additionally, even for the people who went in, the luminous effect was minimal at best. Would not repeat this activity.

It's a joke right? - Booked this as a large group and travelled 2.5 hours from Negril to experience this. Arrived early and some of the party had food and others just a drink while we waited for dark to fall. Once it was time to go we were herded onto tiny boats. There were way too many people on the boat as you could not move. We then sailed out for about 5 minutes while the captain gave us some details about the lagoon and area. Those that wanted to swim got out and did so for about 5 minutes. In they got thrashing around to activate the water. And de nada, zero, nil zilch nothing happened. Despite the staff on the boat enthustically trying to convince you that it lights up. Then the best bit is when you got back and they want 50 dollars for pictures that look like you're swimming in the Thames. We paid a lot of money for this. Not worth the drive or the expense.

Not worth the money, very much overrated - First of all the staff are very unfriendly. Can you send a favour and don’t ask them for anything. If you have tickets in your hand for this trip, you still need to provide confirmation email that you actually purchased it yourself and didn’t steal the tickets from someone.? Which I find very weird. Thankfully for my tour guide we got away without having to show confirmation as we did not bring our cell phones with us on this excursion because we were going in water. They offer a complimentary drink. But the drink is smaller than a child’s glass and probably has approximately teaspoon of alcohol in it. They give you a number and tell you wait for your number to be called to get on the boat. But they don’t follow that everyone just lines up and gets on the boat. We told the sturgeon last 45 minutes. The boat ride was five minutes to get to the lagoon in five minutes to get back from the lagoon and they let us swim in the water for five minutes long enough to take our picture so that they can make money from us..
