Luminous Lagoon offers a 30 minute guided tour of the lagoon where you are able to see the natural wonders of the water as it glows. As the guide informs you of the science and history behind the glow of the water you are invited to enjoy a swim in the lagoon. As you embark to the shore you are entertained by mellow music to prepare for the next 30 minute of the tour. You’ll receive a complimentary drink and can sample the savoury treats of the Jamaican sweets. The fire blower and limbo party expert now treat you to an entertaining and interactive show.

Our renowned Luminous Lagoon is a spectacle to behold, commencing its spectacle each day at dusk. This natural wonder leaves you in awe and admiration of the Earth’s beauty. As the boat’s motor comes to life, the organisms in the water respond, emitting a ghostly glow that illuminates the path of the boat. Housed amidst mangroves, this body of water is home to tiny life forms that produce a radiant light when they’re disturbed. The lagoon takes on a spectacular glow with movements in the water, lighting up a dazzling blue hue. Fishes, as they plunge and scramble around, are visible as trails of light, creating a remarkable sight in the pitch-black night. Rain translates into a phenomenal light display as the water droplets dance on the lagoon’s surface. It’s indeed magnificent! Ensure you carry along a towel and swimming costume, as a nocturnal swim in the Luminous Lagoon lights you up along with the surrounding waters. Anticipate spending about 35-40 minutes for this extraordinary Luminous Lagoon tour.

Chaviz was the best driver - What a great private excursion we had and to have a driver like Chaviz was a plus. He made sure we made it to our destination safe and back safe to our hotel. He made sure we were comfortable with our trip and he made our experience fun. The waters were like magical and a must see and do if your in Jamaica.

Friendly , prompt, reliable and knowledgeable guide!! - We booked Luminous Lagoon tour and Negril tour through Andrae. He was very knowledgeable and amazing to have conversations with. Andre drive us to Negril and was extremely safe and gave us a great price. He was very engaging and shared a lot of local perspective on life in the island, which makes one learn more about local life. We will definitely work with Andrae in the future !!

Most epic part of my trip - This was an epic experience i would'nt pass this up during your visit Andre our driver was very nice timely had lots of info about the area hiss car was clean and i will be using him on my next trip back to Jamiaca

Awesome time with Road Travel to Luminous Lagoon and Mystic Mountain - One of the best times with an amazing driver. Andre was on time, always helpful, and made our Vacation fantastic, we used him for multiple tours and he was happy to customize times and days as needed. He can arrange for private transfers, tours, and whatever else you might need on the island and at far better rates than Resorts will offer. We will use him again whenever we are in Jamaica!

Comfortable and professional transportation - Finding transportation to places of interest in Jamaica is a challenge. This company will provide transportation and the price is reasonable. Andre was professional and offered advice and provided transportation in an air conditioned, clean and comfortable van.

Not what I expected - It was not I expected because there were young clowning boys' loud music on the boat. One of the guises took my pictures in the water but there of the worst quality despite the fact that he had a flash on the camera. It was raining and could've spoiled the whole scenario and the pictures.

Very Interesting, but...... - If we were staying at a resort in the Rosehall area, the trip would have perhaps been worth it. But 1-1/2 hour drive (each way) for the time at the Lagoon and what we saw, really was not worth it.
