A lovely day at Good Hope Estate! - I read all of the reviews carefully before booking this excursion from a Royal Caribbean ship. I was hesitant based on some of the reviews that I read; however, we were pleasantly surprised. This property is lovely and we had such a great time. For all the people commenting on the pool being cloudy, they forgot to mention that it's a dark bottom pool. The water is crystal clear, but has a natural appearance because of the pool floor. As far as debris in the pool, it's surrounded by lavish trees and foliage, do the math, leaves sometimes fall, it's called nature! Overall, it's a beautiful spot to spend a day relaxing by the pool or enjoying the man-made waterfall. The staff was friendly and attentive and we were very comfortable there. A great excursion for an affordable price!

Worth the money - Amazing time! the day is structured and activity filled. we arrived at 10 and left at 5. i was concerned we would get bored, but it takes about that long to get through your activities as a group. the guides are amazing, kind and knowledgeable. the food was good (rice and peas, chicken and festival). money we’ll spent

Great activity for the entire family - My family had a lovely day at the Chukka Good Hope estate. We participated in zip line and river tubing. The activities were well organized and run in a timely manner. I would like to commend Earl and Nick for their patience and care with my 9 yr daughter when she got scared during the zip line. She was able to gain the confidence to complete the last runs. The river tubing was fin and informative as the guides showed various parts of the sugar estate. The grounds at good hope are well laid out. The pool, water slide and waterfall are all included with the entrance fee. My kids did enjoy climbing the waterfall and jumping into the pool. The jerk chicken and festival at the restaurant was surprisingly good. Much better than the resort.

Fun experience in Jamaica - Super fun experience from the Disney Fantasy, it's called "Adrenaline Zipline and River Tubing" on the DCL website. It was a total blast. We had Honest as our Zipline guide and Donkey and Prince Farquhad as our river guides. They really are the reason to do the tour as you will laugh the whole time. My son even fell and cut himself and they were so helpful and nice in helping get him the required attention. 10/10 would come here again.

The Worst - I really enjoyed the bamboo rafting. What I had a problem with was the transportation and lack of communication. Before we left the hotel there wasn’t any communication of how many passengers there would be and they tried to cram 27 people on a small van. So we had to wait until they made arrangements for the other people to get picked up before we left. We were supposed to be picked up at 11, but didn’t leave until 12. We were told after we completed the excursion that we would have to wait 2 hours for transportation back to our hotel. As we are waiting a group that had just finished their excursion was given the next transfer back to their hotel. The lady at the receptionist desk was very rude This is so unorganized, we are here to enjoy our vacation not to be inconvenienced. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

No Tasting Just A Waste of Time - We have gone to different alcohol tastings and facilities all over the world so we kind of knew what to expect in terms of the overall process but this was by far the worst we ever have done. We received a history lesson for approximately 90 minutes on a, hot dusty, road where locals, work trucks, and vans were actively traveling on as we were having our tour of trees and the back story of the previous owners history. Interesting facts but listening to this while we had to continue getting out of the way of vehicles was nerve wracking and unsafe. After seeing a little bit of the river and an old piece of equipment we finally made our way to the rum tasting. We'll that was another disappointment as we watched a 10-15 minutes tourism video for Jamaica and a quick 4 minutes video about Appleton Rum. The pours were not even a half a shot and then they were out if what people wanted to purchase. Very disappointing and not worth tge $90 we paid through RCL. our tour guide was lovely but the tour was a bust!

Poor planning & communication - Booked this excursion for a cruise we were taking to Jamaica and the Caribbean. Received confirmation a day before our cruise left that we were good to go. Completed the waivers and provided the information for our cruise ship. A day before we were supposed to depart on our excursion, they sent me an email that they had to cancel. I did not have any internet or service on the cruise ship. Got into port and received the message the day we were supposed to go. I called them and they said the place was closed. I believe due to Ash Wednesday. Not sure how they would not have known that way in advance. They gave me no options so we were left with no excursion for Jamaica. They only thing they said was contact Viator for a refund. If you are going to Jamaica on a cruise, do not use these guys. I would book through the cruise line so there are no problems.

Poor planning and poor commincation - Scheduled this tour for a cruise going to Falmouth Jamaica. They sent me confirmation the day before I left on my cruise. Had me sign their waiver which asked what ship I was on. The day before our excursion, they tried to reach me but I had no service on the cruise ship. They wanted me to schedule for the next day. I presume it was due to Ash Wednesday which they should have known was coming. We would not be in port the next day. If you are cruising to Jamaica, don’t use these guys. Go through your cruise ship. Just hoping I get a refund through Viator.

Don’t go for rum tasting - Not as advertised. No tour of house, tasting accompanied largely by tourism videos, and transport was not timely. Communication was terrible throughout the trip. The property was wet from recent rain resulting in slick muddy paths with very few safety precautions. It was one of the worst shore excursions/tours we have ever experienced.

Terrible, and I wasted my money. - It was terrible because it rained all day, and I couldn't do any of the activities because of the rain. I only partake in the rum tasting. I would of appreciated a refund of my money, or complimentary voucher, but they refused when I asked. It was a wasted trip.
