Best time in Jamaica - We did this excursion as a day trip from our cruise. The process from start to finish was amazing. “Marvyn’s” is great a communicating via email. Very efficient and responses were always timely. We met our drive Shawn just outside the gate did the port. He was fantastic! My husband, 2 sons (6&8) and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and all the information he shared with us about his home. We went to Blue hole first and it was fantastic. Our family of 4 had our own guide there and were able to jump and swing as many times as we wanted. We then went tubing and again had our own guide to take us down the river. It was the perfect mix of small rapids and relaxing floating for our family. I saw pictures from families that chose to do this excursion through the cruise line and there were soooo many people. I’m very happy we chose to schedule ours with Marvyn’s! One other thing to mention is that you will have a driver and 2 different guides. Tipping is obviously at your discretion, but all three were so fantastic I was glad we brought enough cash to show all three our appreciation. Choosing Marvyn’s Paradise Tours was the best decision we made on our cruise!

Best day!! - We had an absolutely fantastic time, thanks to Marvyn's Paradise tours! Sean was our guide for the day, and he was warm and friendly and very professional and an excellent driver! Blue Hole was so beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves for part of our time there. Tubing was just the right mix of relaxing with some little rapids that kept the kids excited and entertained. if you have the opportunity to spend the day in Jamaica, don't miss the chance to use a wonderful guide so you don't miss anything, feel safe, and have the best day ever! Super reasonably priced as well!

Best excursion ever!! - We loved this tour!! We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise, but booked this tour independently after reading great reviews! We had a great vacation, and this was the hit of the trip!! We’re all still talking about it. Sean was a driver and tour guide..he was excellent! He got us everywhere on time, and gave us great history about Jamaica and the areas we were driving through. Our first stop was the blue hole waterfalls! Dave was our guide for this, and he was fantastic! He also gave us great history as we were hiking through, and put us all at ease as we were going to jump off the cliffs! He led my 8yo with him in front telling her all sorts of interesting Jamaica facts. He also held my 5yo as we were hiking and showed her cool things in the hike as well. He was very patient as we were waiting to jump. There were different heights he helped us jump from. My 5yo changed her mind, and Dave helped her back up safely! My girls are still talking about Dave! Next, we got back in the van with Sean and went to the river tubing. Dwight was our tubing guide, and he was also great! He sang songs to help calm the nerves of the 8 and 5yo. The river was a lot of fun…there were a few small rapids at first (hence the nervousness of the kids), but after a few, they loved the rapids! Dwight kept us safe and had clear instructions! We finished there, got back in the van with Sean. We stopped for lunch at a great place closer to the port in Falmouth. I forget the name (something jerk), but we had the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had!! My husband got the goat curry, and said it was amazing!! We made it back to port in plenty of time to load back up! My girls did not want to leave Jamaica, a d are planning our trip back…I think mainly to hopefully see Sean, Dave, and Dwight again and enjoy all the fresh fruit and sugar cane!!

Great safe and fun trip. - Great trip. Shawn was our driver and guide. He made the trip simple and smooth. He helped us understand how things work. I felt very comfortable with my family on this trip. He stayed with us, parked close, and knew the guides. Cali Rest Stop for Jerk Chicken was very good. Tyrone at the Blue Hole was great and Dwight on the tubes at Calypso was awesome. Everyone was always aware of our port times too.Thank you for sharing your country with us.

Amazing Day! - We had heard so many comments that Jamaica wasn't safe. We were on Royal Caribbean cruise line so we were somewhat nervous to book an excursion not on the cruise ship. However, Marvyn's tour company made us feel very safe and confident in our decision. Our driver, Sean, knew so much history and background about Jamaica - you could tell how much he loved his country. The blue hole was amazing - it wasn't crowded or full of tourists. Definitely "off the beaten path". Omar was our guide and did a fantastic job. We were river tubing with Dwight which was a blast as well. Such wonderfully, kind people. Please be sure to tip them well, they work really hard to make this an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic Experience that the whole family enjoyed - My wife and I along with our 4 children had a fantastic day with Shawn from Marvyn's Paradise Tours. From the very first minute Shawn greeted us at the Cruise Terminal, we knew we were in safe hands. Shawn is an exceptional tour guide / driver and even though we only spent the day with him, we felt we had known him all our lives. The Blue Hole experience was fantastic and the kids had an amazing time jumping of the many rocks / cliff faces of all different heights. Next we completed the Tubing experience down the river which was a heap of fun and very relaxing. Shawn took us to a restaurant for lunch and we tried the Ox Tail which was simply delicious (after some initial hesitation). Shawn got us back to the cruise ship way before time so we could enjoy some shopping prior to our cruise departing. An experience that we wont forget and a massive thankyou to Shawn and the whole Marvin team. We will be back!!!

Amazing fun for the whole family, you won't regret this one!!! - This was an amazing excursion! We opted to book ourselves through TripAdvisor instead of through DCL. Our primary reason being that we had a 4-year-old with us and the DCL excursions had almost nothing for kiddos his age. We were *thrilled* with our experience with Marvyn's Paradise Tours. We made the mistake of going off my email that said the excursion opened at 9 - our driver was waiting from the time our boat docked at port at like 7 am. So he waited an additional 2 hours. We felt really bad, so heads up on that. The tubing ride was wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing. Our guide was friendly and made sure our 8-year-old got lots of little bumps and thrills (which he loved). The Blue Hole tour was absolutely phenomenal. We had the most amazing guide, he was incredible with our little guy and he (our 4-year-old) even trusted the guide (Weise - I don't know how to spell it) to swing off a rope and jump into one of the pools. The guide let go of the rope and lifted my son up as they hit the water so he went under the least amount possible. I really can't express how awesome he was. We swam into a cave and my sons were able to leave their names on the walls. My 8-year-old loves to swim and got a lot of opportunities to do jumps and play in the water. We all had a blast. Our guide also took some great photos and videos with our phones. Highly recommend.

Awesome - This is a great tour! Susan was our guide and Mr. T was our driver, you are in for a great day if you have them! Susan kept us all entertained on the ride, engaged with each other, and gave us lots of info about the area. Mr. T did an outstanding job of getting us to our locations and back to the ship. The rafting was very fun and the river guide, Dwight, was very fun. Understand, this tour does take some time and you need to be ready to get off the ship when the gangway opens that morning. The longer you have with these guys on the tour, the better. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with Marvyn! Great company to use and great guides.

Book now - If you don't use this company you are missing out ! Seven of us on Oasis of the Seas booked a private tour. Sean (sp) was our driver and we couldn't have asked for better. He filled us in on his island , answered all our questions and was all around outstanding. Blue hole and tubing adventure was amazing. Great Time - We visited Blue Hole/White River during our cruise with Liberty of the Seas. We are a family of 7 with kids ages 10, 8, 6, 4 and 4. This was the kid's favorite excursion of the cruise. Dalton was a fantastic guide. I highly recommend!
