• Kayak Village - After check-in, guides assemble the group for a brief session on basic kayaking, safety guidelines, and the importance of minimizing environmental impact on the bioluminescent lagoon.

Next, the group launches their kayaks and heads towards a concealed opening in the mangroves at the northern end of the beach. Upon entering the mangroves, they follow a channel for a mile leading to Laguna Grande.

Once inside the lagoon, the guides gather the group for an informative discussion about this unique ecosystem, including the flora, fauna, and marine life that inhabit the lagoon, as well as historical insights.

The bay is very delicate, relying on the surrounding ecosystem. Due to climate changes and other factors, the bioluminescent bay may not always glow at 100%. This depends on natural or human influences that can affect the organisms.
