Magical experience !!! - Few travel adventures have impressed me like this. It is important to know that the ideal time to do this tour is during the new moon.

Go with friends! - The bus was clean, and it picked us up from our hotel. The bioluminescent bay was incredible! I went with my two friends. We felt safe in the kayak. If you are in an odd-numbered group, one of your group members will get paired with another guest. On the way back from the bay, we kayaked in the dark, but the guides had flashlights and accounted for the entire group. Our tour guide, Manolo, was friendly and patient. We were able to see the bioluminescence under the tarp (which was provided by the guides). The guides provided us with snacks and water when we returned to shore!

Kayaks could have better lighting. - Our tour guides were fun & knowledgeable. It was very dark and difficult to navigate through the lagoon as our guides kayak was not well illuminated. Overall, there’s no way to describe the beauty of the bioluminescence.

Make sure you book this... - Make sure you book this event when you can’t see the moon if it’s too bright you have to put a tarp over your head to see it and you can’t get in the water

There is nothing to see. - There is nothing to see there. The organisms are gone for good. Despite what the disclaimer says (you may see or may not see, etc.) you won’t see anything at all. And it’s not due to light pollution or whatever, the microorganisms are just dead or almost gone. It’s really sad. I took the same tour 15 years ago and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, that’s why I wanted to take my friend there. The only fun part about the trip was kayaking in the dark, I don’t think it’s worth it, though.

Careful when working with a Third Party Vendor - Be careful buying anything from Bespoke Lifestyle Management in Puerto Rico. They are a third-party vendor, and when we had an issue with the Kayaking company they booked us through, the kayaking company refused to help us because "we booked through a third-party vendor." The Bespoke representative (bus driver) couldn't get a hold of anyone at Bespoke to help us out either in time for our event, and we didn't get to participate and lost our entire booking costs. Bespoke didn't even try to help us reschedule or help with a solution. I would highly recommend you visit the vendors directly and not use this company just for security in your booking.
