We had an amazing time! Great captain and deck hand! - Captain Jon’s navigation skills are like no other, we embarked on a choppy mission to Icacos and arrived completely unscathed. He effortlessly backed up the 22’ boat into a parking space the size of a smart car. As we approached the island, we were safely instructed down the boat by captain Jon, but what really sealed the deal was when our deck hand SYD brought medicine to my pregnant wife as she needed a hydration kit. This experience was nothing short of amazing. 100000% recommend this experience! No other way to do Icacos or any of the islands!!

This was not great it was amazing!!!! - John and Syd were amazing!! They made us feel so comfortable and so attentive to our needs!! My 6 year old daughter immediately became attached to Syd who stayed with her and snorkeled with her the whole time which I appreciated so much. she gave my family such a great experience encouraging us to just get in the water and enjoy it. I definitely recommend this excursion if you’re planning on doing anything on the island this should be it!! Thank you John and Syd for an experience we will never forget!!

10/10 hospitality - Family and I had the best time with Syd & Captain Jon. They were extremely attentive—they want you to relax & let them do their job. They were extremely pleasant, and if they had time we would book with them & do this again. 10/10, definitely recommend! :)

John and Syd were... - John and Syd were fantastic. We had a family of 5 with young kids. The whole boat to ourselves and they accommodate all our requests along the way. If you have 5-6 people in your group, skip the large tours where you are crammed onto a vessels with a strict itinerary.and go with this organization!

Great boat ride around to small islands - Really fun and beautiful morning with Captain John and first mate Syd. They were very kind and knowledgeable. It was a little too rough to do much snorkeling, but the deserted beaches we visited were outright gorgeous. Snacks provided were perfect for family.

Excellent full day charter! - We chartered a full day boat to Icacos and Palomino. The boat was comfortable and provided lots of shade and the two person crew was professional, fun and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we have fun while staying safe. The chicken they grilled for us for lunch was delicious. Overall a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Perfect Day - The best day of our trip! None of my pictures captured the clarity or beautiful color of the water at Icacos. Such a beautiful beach. Our Captain John and first mate Syd were amazing. Our youngest son (6) was nervous about the boat ride itself, but they made sure he was comfortable before we departed. Once arriving at the island they set us up like no other tour company there. Beach umbrella, food and drinks. Always making sure we were happy. My kids asked if Syd could come back to our hotel for the rest of the trip because they had so much fun playing in the water and on the beach together. We opted for just a drive by of palomino and a sea turtle came right up by the boat. John and Syd were so knowledgeable about the history of the islands and provided us with other local recommendations for the rest of our trip. Perfect day!

A must-do! - Went last year and it was so awesome that we made it a priority to do it again this year! We had John and Syd and they were fun and knowledgeable. Unfortunately this time the water was too choppy to go snorkeling, but we still had a great time at the beach and then just playing in the water around the boat. Syd made my 12-year-old son's day by throwing the football around with him on the beach - not something that she had to do, but just a kind, fun gesture. This tour is an absolute must-do. Next time we'll probably take the plunge and go for the full-day tour!

Amazing family time - This was an awesome family vacation treat. Having private time as a family with John and Syd helping us enjoy and relax. The waves were a bit rough, so it took some time for John to say it was safe enough for us to snorkel..(we are experienced/athletic) That made me feel really comfortable as a mom that they took safety so seriously. The beach time was so relaxing! No pics bc we had to jump in and swim to the shore, but the images of seclusion will live in my mind always. Thank you John and Syd!!

Fantastic family experience!! - We took a full-day (9:00-4:00) trip to Vieques with our family of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults). This was unanimously our favorite day of our vacation! Adriana and Captain Jamil were such a great balance of professional, kind, knowledgeable and fun! We snorkeled for 45 mins/1 hour where we saw sea turtles, so many colorful fish, and stingray. Our kids are 12 and under, and Adriana was an excellent snorkeling guide for our family. We then went to the beach for the day where we could snorkel closer to the shore, swim, and play or relax on their floating mat. We could hang on the beach (umbrella provided by Adriana and Jamil), in the water, or on the boat. They prepared a delicious lunch and had enough snacks and drinks for us for the day. I highly recommend any of their trips for small groups or families. When you price things out, this is slightly more per person than large group tours, and with Escape to PR we received personal attention and the ability to do what we wanted. Both Adriana and Jamil were so nice to us and our kids. We would absolutely book a tour with them again. I can't say enough good things about Adriana, Jamil, and this experience! If you're on the fence, just book it!!
