Adventure in the Desert - this was an amazing once in a lifetime adventure. Wael was so knowledgeable and showed us the west desert. The dune bashing was super fun. The valley of the whales was breathtaking. The restaurant we went to was yummy and had view of the pyramids. best meal yet. and then he took us shopping. definitely recommend this

Lovely trip into the desert. - Wael was a great guide, so knowledgeable, with excellent English language skills. We enjoyed the desert scenery. Learning about the fossil whales was fascinating. The driver took us hurtling over the dunes in a rollercoaster ride!

Best Day Ever - By far the BEST excursion my wife and I have ever been on. Coming into Cairo we didn't know what to expect as there are plenty of guides and tours out there. If you are reading this...stop looking and book with Gem Explore Egypt! We booked the Fayoum adventure tour which included 4x4 desert ride, Valley of Whale (very informative), Waterfall, magic lake, lunch, and SAND BOARDING. Amazing scenery everywhere you looked. My wife didnt stop taking pictures the entire time lol. Both tour guides and especially Maged were very knowledgeable and knew the area like the back of their hand. Highly Recommend!!

A magical journey to the past with the best guide! - Our trip to Valley of the Whales and Wadi Rayan was incredible! The team at Gem Explore Egypt was great and Mr Maged made our tour wonderful, insightful and very fun! If you visit Egypt, do not miss this tour as part of your itinerary.

A unique and amazing adventure - I booked this trip looking for real adventure and it delivered. The Valley of the Whales is one of the most remarkable places I’ve ever seen. 40 Million years of history and well with the trip to see these fossils. The jeep ride through the desert is a highlight and so much fun. To see the desert and how the different areas have developed, from the white sand desert which is actually shockingly so white, to the large fossilized mangroves, it’s amazing and unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere on earth- and well worth the 2.4 hour drive. This trip is for someone who really wants to see a different size of Egypt, someone who is active and (and doesn’t mind hiking in the sand - even tho it’s hot!) GEM explorer does the best at making sure you see everything you want. The lunch was a highlight for me and one of my favorite meals in Egypt. I would gladly do this trip again - but next time spend the night so I can get more time exploring the desert!
