Today’s expedition leads us to the attractions in Wadi El Ryan, recognized as a Protected Region in 1989. Our trip begins with a tour of the Wadi Hitan Protected Area (Valley of the Whales), which is included in the cost and lies about 90 km from Fayoum. The Valley of the Whales or Wadi Hitan can be found within the Protected Division of Wadi El Rayan. It’s acknowledged as a World Heritage Site by UNISCO thanks to the discovery of 40-million-year-old whale fossils. As we proceed towards Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, we mak a stopover at Mudawara Mountain, then continue to Wadi Al Ryan Water Falls. We visited the valley of the whales, the Fayoum waterfalls, Lake Maggiore, Lake Magico and then finished the tour with some sand boarding and 30 minutes with the quad. Really nice experience!

Wonderful desert scenery and camping experience! - I was looking for a tour that I could join on the same day, and when I contacted them, they responded quickly and gave me a private tour regardless of the morning of the tour. We arrived at the Oasis campground about 3 hours from Cairo. The tour guide was friendly. On the second day, we drove through the desert to see a waterfall. We enjoyed sand boarding and the spectacular desert scenery.

Ismail is a great tour guide aye! - 5/5 Ismail was absolutely fantastic, he was very genuine and friendly, easy to talk to. If I were to book any tours in or around Cairo/giza I’d ask for him and you can’t go wrong. Super kind and the tour itself was great! Ismail is also a pro photographer btw xD

Fun and accommodating trip - The guide and driver was very friendly and accommodated our preferences as we added valley of Whales to out tour. (10 usd can only be used). Beautiful views and skill full driver made the trip one to remember. Lunch was lovely and relaxed in a Bedouin camp but the trip was topped for me by the visit to the valley of the Whales and sand boarding. Although the staff were friendly, they didn't really have much knowledge of the areas we have been visiting in terms if history etc so please do yur own research before coming.

Great trip! - We had Ismael as our guide, he was very friendly and told us what we were passing. We added valley of whales to our tour and it was amazing! Sand boarding was very fun and lunch was amazing. I would recommend looking up the history of the area before going so you know what you are looking at as not all of our questions were able to be answered. Thank you and I would definitely recommend this tour!
