The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy El Fayoum famous sites.
From Cairo to Fayoum is about 95 km we will pass by Qarun lake and we will know the history of this lake then we will arrive to Wadi El Ryan, designated as Protected Area in 1989.
Once we arrive to the camp we will take some rest after that we will take the 4 x 4…

On the way back to the camp we will pass by visit Mudawara Mountain.At the end we will head back to our bedouin camp in the desert to enjoy our BBQ lunch & drinking Bedouin tea with cardemom.Around our Bedouin camp we can do the sandboarding and the guide will tell the necessary instructions to enjoy this thrilling experience!
After finishing everything we will go back to Cairo to drop you off by your hotel.

Seamless experience - The valley of the whales will have sights unlike any other tour you will be taking in Egypt. The Valley of the Whales is a unique attraction that shows ancient creatures instead of ancient structures built by man. The desert was very interesting context to see how the archeological remains were discovered!
Glad I went with Egypt Discovery Tours that helped to arrange everything from the car ride to the desert, to having a fun 4 x 4 driving experience, to seeing the lakes around and the tasty lunch! Hassan and Mohammed kept me at ease as a solo female traveller. Would recommend!

Well-Organized Faiyum Oasis Tour with Great Team - I had an amazing day at the Faiyum Oasis. Everything was well organized and the team was very professional. The transfer in a 4x4 was smooth and comfortable, with plenty of cold water, coffee, and snacks along the way.
The food was really nice, and both the guide and driver were great company — very friendly and easy to talk to. The highlights for me were the desert dunes, sandboarding, swimming in the magic lake, and just enjoying the unique landscape.
It was a bit of a long day, but I really enjoyed every part of it. Highly recommended

Solace in the desert - Really enjoyed my trip to the Eastern Safara of Egypt with Eino. My favourite part was the Offroad driving to the cliffs above Wadi El Rayan and the swim in the hidden lake behind. It was very hot in the summer but Eino and his team ensured we had no shortage of cold water.

Amazing! - My excursions with Abdul made the trip! He’s very knowledgeable and very easy going. No sales or pressure to do anything, he just wanted to make our dream trip a reality. Egyptian hospitality at its finest! We visited 2 museums, the pyramids on camels, and we did Fayium Oasis for sand boarding with him as well. He shot the best pictures, great angles and overall a nice person to be around. Also his English is very good so there was no struggling to understand when he was teaching us the history.

Dream Vacation - We discovered parts of the country that people don't usually get to see with education on the culture, it wasn't just a fun experience it was inviting & comfortable.
I'm so grateful for this gentleman and his talent to capture a moment so this experience will live on with me forever.

A day in the desert - A good trip with my son well looked after by Eino. Driver arrived on time, common place to pick up the guide enroute which was not a problem. The Viator add said it was 1hr 30 from Cairo. We were staying at Nile Maadi which was closer to 2hr30 so a long drive. It’s a lot in the car. Especially for my 8yr old but we had a great time. My son loved Whale Valley and the local traditional food was really good. Thanks for a great day Eino

Fantastic Al Fayoum Trip – Safe, Scenic & Memorable! - We had a fantastic trip to Al Fayoum! Though it was a long drive from our hotel in Giza, it was expected, and the journey was comfortable. The car was clean, well-maintained, and had all necessary safety features. Our driver was excellent and drove carefully.
Our guide, Eino, was friendly and kept us informed throughout the day. The whale skeletons were absolutely fascinating, and the meal in a traditional Bedouin tent was delicious. The waterfalls were lovely, adding to the experience. Overall, a well-organized and memorable trip!
