Hooray, Northern Lights! - We went to Fairbanks with the sole purpose of seeing the Northern Lights. We greatly appreciated our hosts driving us several hours south to get out from under the cloud cover for Fairbanks. While the density was low and we mostly saw wispy clouds coming and going (with the naked eye), pictures with 3-10 sec exposures showed us the Northern Lights. Yay!

Wonderful Aurora Experience - Had a wonderful experience, it had been cloudy for several days before our tour, and we were thankful that we got to see the auroras with Arctic Nights though we went 3 hours out to the Dalton Hwy, but it was totally worth the drive. It was a spectacular show, and we got lots of pictures. Elena and Ed were fantastic, they are super positive and happy energy, lovely guides! We also got goodies during and after our tour. Excellent company!

Surreal - This experience was absolutely amazing, beyond words. They picked me up at the exact time they said and we set off to find the aurora. I did the tour twice. The first night it was very cloudy, but they didn't stop until we found a clearing and got to see a rather playful aurora. It was beautiful. While we waited they gave us snacks, and when dropping me off they gave me the most delicious slice of cake. On the second tour we headed to two different spots than the night before and the sky was absolutely amazing. It was surreal. The aurora danced beautifully in the sky. They happily took as many photos as you wanted and encouraged you to do it. When I saw them, I got butterflies remembering that night. Again, snacks and cake! These people are absolutely wonderful, funny, knowledgeable, and won't stop until making you witness the aurora (although sometimes despite the effort it's not possible). If I ever go back, I would totally book with them again. It was an unforgettable experience.

We Tried 3, This was the Best! - Amazing Northern Lights experience! This was our 3rd attempt with 3 companies to see the lights. All Week the skies were cloudy and the first 2 tours were a bust (and $$$$). Arctic Night Tours made sure we got to see the lights before heading home to Florida. We traveled by beautiful Mercedes vans up the Dalton Hwy to just south of the Arctic Circle and found a beautiful display of lights. What was the difference between this company and the other companies? The other 2 just plopped us at a lounge and waited for lights to appear- which never happened. Arctic Night Tours made use of technology to take us to where the lights were - kind of like storm chasers. Highly recommend!

An unexpected tour - On our northern light tour day, we see morning sun and part of clear sky in the afternoon. When about 3pm the host called to tell us the chances of seeing northern light was mixed. We decided to give a tried. Around 10pm, the host stop at one spot not too far from town, took out his device and check if there is an aurora light coming out, few minutes later, He told us “Yes” ! but we see nothing from naked eyes from sky but just some white smoky lights… then he ask one of us to take a picture… 1 min later.. we can’t believed our eyes ball! The “white light” is the aurora light! I wanted to say “Big Thank You” to the host because of him and his wife, we have no regret to take this tour. Both of them have truly shows the enthusiasms and bring the excited moment. Even thought we didn’t see colorful northern light from sky but camera :) it’s still make us no regret to join Arctic night tour and came to Alaska. Last but not least, My humble suggest if they can provide some hot drink instead of a piece of cake that would be even better!
