• Fairbanks - Guests will be picked up from their Hotel or AirBnB at 8:30 am to embark on a journey to the Castner Glacier Ice Cave. The 2.5-hour drive along the Richardson Highway offers stunning views of the Alaska Range. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as moose and caribou, which are frequently spotted crossing or near the road.

• Delta Junction - The 2.6-mile hike to the Castner Glacier Ice Cave is easy and mostly flat. In some areas, deep snow may require the use of snowshoes. These classic Interior glacier ice caves are both fascinating and beautiful, changing with each season to offer a fresh and captivating experience.

• Santa Claus House - As one of the top attractions in Interior Alaska, Santa Claus House has welcomed millions of visitors from around the globe.

• Fairbanks - The return to Fairbanks is scheduled for around 6 pm, with drop-off at the guests’ Hotel or AirBnB.

Relish the breathtaking mountain views and be on the lookout for wildlife like moose and caribou, which are frequently spotted crossing the road en route to Castner Glacier. Upon reaching the trailhead, embark on a 1.6-mile hike to the Ice Cave. Please dress appropriately for cold weather. Delight in the stunning vistas of the Delta Range, an eastern segment of the Alaska Range. Ice caves are remarkable due to their rarity and their location far from permafrost zones—at low elevations (near sea level) and low latitudes (between approximately 30° and 70°), where they maintain a significantly lower average annual temperature than the air above. After the hike, the journey continues back to North Pole, where there will be some free time to explore the renowned Santa Claus House.
