Amazing! - Had a great time on the tour. Shannon did a great job driving us through a blizzard to get reach clear sky. It was a long drive there and back, but very much worth it. Shannon was very committed to getting us an amazing sky show. Don't schedule an early morning tour the next day. You might not make it/really need a nap!

Fabulous Northern Lights with Mike - Fabulous 4 nights with Mike of Greatlqnd adventures in Fairbanks viewing the Northern Lights! The lights were fantastic. Great viewing spot with no light disruption. Had a nice warm cabin with hot drinks and snacks to escape the cold. Loved the ice walls, platforms around the cabin. Mike was always taking pics of our group, providing great info and extremely helpful in all ways. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome Aurora views - Tour was amazing. We had been in and around Fairbanks for a week, attempting to see the Aurora, including trying Borealis Basecamp and all we saw were clouds or stars. We booked a tour with Mike at Greatland Adventures and he was able to find a clear location with a beautiful view of the Aurora. He also took some amazing pictures, and provided those for no extra charge! He even spotted a moose along the way to the Aurora viewing site. It was the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Mike! Here are a few pictures I took with my Samsung phone.

Awe inspiring aurora viewing experience! - We booked the Fairbanks northern lights tour with them as it was recommended by the aurora guy (Vincent Ledvina). We couldn’t be more delighted!! Our guide Mike was amazing and we had a great aurora viewing experience at their cabin. They also captured high quality pictures of us which turned out to be amazing! I can’t recommend them enough.

Greatland Adventures Northern Lights Tour was GREAT! - We had an amazing night hunting the Northern Lights with Greatland Adventures in Fairbanks. Kevin, our guide, was the absolute BEST! He contacted us beforehand asking if we had any questions and then went out of his way to make sure each one was answered. What made the outing even more fun was his enthusiasm. His excitement to see the lights raised everyone else's. When we arrived at the cabin Kevin made sure everyone was comfortable. His attentiveness never faded, either. On top of making sure everyone had what they needed he took amazing pictures -- of the lights and groups - multiple times throughout the night. Going beyond what was usually offered, he even recorded and sent a GoPro time lapse video to us. Sensitive to the group's needs he didn't rush anyone and gave ample time to wrap things up. Thankfully, we had an amazing night and didn't need to drive far but if we had Kevin would've make the trip worth it. Even at 2:30am he stopped on the way back and gave us one more chance to capture the amazing lights. Booking with Greatland was easy, affordable, and worth it. They had great customer service before we even booked - returning my calls and sending details on tour options - and that service lasted even after we returned. Thank you Greatland and Kevin for such an AMAZING trip!

Wow!!!!!!!!!! - Thanks for 4 memorable and awesome experiences. Jonathan with the Matanuska Glacier tour. Bill with the Fat Tire Bike & dog sled tour and Daniel with the Northern Lights tour (including Clint & Dimitri) and then our daily Northern Lights telephone call with Brad. And, Sandy and Rochelle in the office for their hospitality and assistance. You all made it very easy, friendly and worthwhile. Thanks for making our Alaskan vacation so special.

Worth it! Great service! - My partner and I booked Greatland as we wanted to hedge our bets and ensure we would have as many opportunities to see the Northern Lights as possible. We spent a couple of nights in Anchorage and a couple in Fairbanks, so i'd booked with them for a night in Anchorage, but ended up cancelling this trip and rebooking it for Fairbanks as the chances weren't great that night. There was no issue with this from the team and they were all so lovely. We spoke in person and on the phone and in all interactions the people were amazing. We successfully saw the lights in Fairbanks (which were indescribable!) and had a great evening with Chris. He was the perfect guide and so excited for us to see them. His infectious energy kept us going (we'd just caught the train to Fairbanks from Anchorage that day and were exhausted). I can't speak highly enough of the service they offer. Yes, it's expensive, but they truly offer amazing service and were so accommodating to our needs.

Getting the most out of the experience - Steve was very knowledgeable and quite willing to share that knowledge. He took great care to make sure that everyone got the most out of the experience. While other tour groups sharing the lodge with us left at 2am, Steve stayed until 4am so that we could have the greatest chance to see the northern lights. He even stopped along the road going home to catch just a minute of the 'dancing lights.' As a solo attendee, Steve made sure that I was not left out and understood all that was going on.

First time visit absolutely wonderful - Our scheduled night was cloudy so they postponed it one night hoping for clear skies. Chris our driver was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The little cabin was warm and the sky show was great.
