Wonderful guide, lovely hot springs and amazing Auroras all in one trip! - Nate picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Chena Hotsprings. On the way he told us all about the history of the area and answered our many questions. You can tell Nate loves Alaska and loves to share it with his guests. When we arrived at Chena, we got to enter the fabulous ice museum where there were beautiful sculptures all carved out of ice. We drank an Appletini out of hand crafted ice goblets, then smashed them outside and made a wish as is the custom. I wished for the Aurora, and hoped my wish would come true. We then soaked in the magical hot springs warming up on a cold night. Nate joined us in the hot springs and took all our pictures. After we were all ready to go, we boarded his warm cozy van and went searching for the magical aurora. Nate took us to a dark beautiful area by a lake and the stars were magnificent. Then, after wishing for the Aurora with every shooting star, she suddenly appeared! Breathtaking! The lights just kept coming and coming until the sky was full of brilliant light of many colors. Nate took all our photos with the Aurora. All my wishes came true that night. I got 2 of my bucket list items in one. The Aurora and the brilliant stars with their amazing constellations. Then, Nate built a fire and we roasted reindeer hot dogs (and some vegan ones) and we ended the night with a luscious Smores casserole cooked over the fire. Tired and happy, we were delivered safely back to our hotel. I can’t say enough about Nate’s helpful and caring attitude towards each of his guests. The experience far exceeded our expectations. I hope to return in March and do it all over again. Thank you, Nate!

Perfect experience, fabulous aurora and Chena Hot Springs experience - My adventure with Nate was wonderful. After going to Chena Hot Springs where I saw the ice museum, drank an appletini and soaked in the hot springs, he took us to the perfect place to see the aurora, which was fantastic. He took many pictures of us with the aurora in the background. There he cooked reindeer sausages and s’mores. He was a great guide, quite knowledgeable about the area and the aurora, and fun to be with. The whole trip far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him.

Great excursion with Nate! - Nate picked us up at our hotel and guided us to The Chena Hot Springs and Ice Hotel. Both were really nice but we really enjoyed the ice hotel where we had an appletini in an ice martini glass! Nate was great at tips and tricks and also very generous with taking photos for us. He even joined us in the hot spring and ice hotel. He made the excursion extra special! Thanks Nate!

An amazing, unforgettable tour! 10/10 would recommend - Nate's hot springs and northern lights tour totally exceeded all my expectations! The entire experience was thoughtfully planned from start to finish. Nate picked me up right on time and shared fun stories and facts about Alaska during the drive to the hot springs. The dinner at the resort restaurant was delicious and exploring the ice museum was next-level (definitely try their appletini, you get to keep the ice glass!). The hot springs were super relaxing too, but the highlight was definitely the aurora viewing afterward. It was a cloudy night but Nate found a beautiful spot in the woods with a big gap in the clouds. The northern lights started as a faint green glow and then gradually intensified into bright green ribbons that swirled across the entire sky. It was a truly amazing experience that I'll never forget! Nate was kind enough to deal with all my photo requests so I have tons of great pics on my phone, and he used his professional camera to take awesome photos of the northern lights for me! Throughout the night, Nate was knowledgeable, fun, and attentive - and probably the best tour guide I've met. If you're visiting Fairbanks and want to experience the northern lights with someone who truly cares about giving you the best experience possible, look no further. This tour was the highlight of my Alaska trip!
