Fun in Fairbanks - Kathy was the best tour guide! She took us through the Museum of the North, the LARS, the Alaska Pipeline viewing area, the Morris Thompson Visitor Center, and the Santa House in North Pole. It was a delightful afternoon. She was incredibly knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions.

Sites great - guide ho-hum - The tour stops were very interesting. The driver had no narrative to add to the experience. He was a nice conversationalist, but had very little informative tidbits to share. Folks in the back of the van could not hear him speaking. No microphone. You might consider seeing these places on your own.

Heritage and Cultural Highlights - We enjoyed this tour and had a good experience. Highlights were the Alyeska Pipeline and the University of Fairbanks Museum of the North. Our guide Jim was great, adding local knowledge to the displays at both the Museum of the North and the Morris Thompson Cultural Center. We could have skipped the visit to North Pole's Santa Claus House.

Sites: great; guide: ho-hum - The tour sites were very interesting; unfortunately the guide added very little interesting tidbits. He was a good conversationalist, but didn't have much to add to the sites we were visiting. The guests in the second row were unable to hear him. He had no mic. Save your money and go see these sites on your own!
