Welcome to Tahiti Safari Islander,
We will go to the heart of the island of Tahiti. You will be able to see beautiful mountains, waterfalls and natural pools.
You can enjoy a beautiful panorama while sitting in a new and comfortable 4x4 open to the sky and equipped with local music in the back. If the weather is nice we will go swimming in the natural pools and if it rains we will be able to appreciate the multitude of waterfalls. We are waiting for you to help you discover this Polynesian treasure.
BE CAREFUL the road is very uneven.
There are 37 km to cover in the mountains. The road is not cemented, not tarred. If you don’t feel able to do it, please do another quieter excursion like the tour of the island of Tahiti

For noon we will stop at a bakery to take food and drink. (Not included).

Book This! So fun! - This was one of our cruise excursions with a family of 6 (7 year old, 9 year old and teenagers). It was a blast and the kid’s favorite excursion so far. It’s bumpy and crazy and at times a little “EEEK” when you’re really high up! It’s an adventure and the guide is the best!! We saw other tours that weren’t allowed to stand up in the back like we could! It was a really fun day! We even got to stop and swim in a river and that was wonderful! This is a private business so it felt very personal- he stopped at a really good French bakery on the way (so we could have a picnics by the river) and I highly suggest getting a bunch of food- sooo good!
Overall, it was an excellent excursion!

It was a fun and enjoyable trip for my family. - I went on a Tahiti island tour with my family today.
What I liked best about today's tour was that it was a program run solely by a tour guide.
I was always unsatisfied with the trip when past travel agencies dispatched multiple tour guides and multiple boats or vehicles.
The safari tour on a 4X4 truck was a fun trip where you could cross the island, see waterfalls, and swim.
The guide came ahead of the scheduled time and waited for my family.
The guide is sincere and trustworthy.
The guide was very friendly and fun.
They took very good photos of my family.
The vehicle is very clean and comfortable.
It was the best tour of this Tahiti trip.
We are very grateful to our guide.

Outstanding 4x4 Experience Through The Heart of Tahiti - Wow! What a great experience! I feel like we saw the "real" Tahiti today by bumping through the heart of the island! I know we saw more than 200 waterfalls! Our guide, Rocky, was fabulous. He explained everything in French and English and was super attentive. He also went above and beyond by stopping to share wild fruits with us. Plus, our fresh fruit platter at our lunchtime picnic was very creative. Outstanding day today!

Refunded even though they could have chosen not to! - Unfortunately we were unable to take the trip due to cruise issues. But they where AMAZING!!! we were fully refunded. Highly Highly recommended!!!

Journey to the crater of Tahiti - Rocky was an excellent guide for this fascinating 8-hour journey through the center of Tahiti. We stopped occasionally to get out and take pictures of the scenery, to swim in the crater, and eat snacks we brought at the food market at the beginning of the tour. There is no cooler to keep food and water cold. Bring water shoes. We viewed many waterfalls and Rocky pointed out several plants and trees along the way. Be aware that the ride was very bumpy and especially hard on my lower back. We saw so much of the culture and topography, that it made for a worthwhile day.

Beautiful and rugged! - What a memorable trip! Very rugged and beautiful. Not sure there’s any other way to see the sheer cliffs and dozens of waterfalls without taking a 4WD tour. Our guide Viathe (sorry wrong spelling) was very good and informative. I’d recommend this trip!

Great trip - Great day very long but worth it. The drive through the volcano gives fantastic vistas. Swin in the river and in a reservoir.

Tahiti off road - Nice tour. 5 hours on gravel roads. Very rough but worth it.

Mountain experience - Enjoyed the company of strangers, who weren’t by the end of the trip. Small issue with the car’s mechanics once we hit the main road on the return. This would have been an issue in the mountains!
