- Pig Beach - Big Major’s Cay the home of the now world famous swimming pigs! These pigs have made their way around the world thanks to shows like ABC’s The Bachelor and many social media influencers who have visited the pigs here and have shared their experiences with millions of followers. Here you will have the opportunity to feed and swim with pigs. Don’t forget to take photos!
- Norman’s Cay - You will have the chance to snorkel at a plane wreck known famously as “Pablo Escobar’s sunken plane”. The plane crashed in at this spot just off Norman’s Cay in the late 1970’s supposedly filled with cocaine. During this time, Pablo Escobar had taken control of Norman’s Cay and its small run way to utilize it as a home base and refueling point for the planes that were running cocaine from Mexico to the U.S. Definitely as must see!
- Exuma - The only way to finish off a perfect day is to enjoy some beach time! You will stop at a beautiful sandbar or beach for swimming, sunbathing, and more photo taking before heading back to Paradise Island.

Such a wonderful... - Such a wonderful experience. I felt so safe and everyone was very helpful. Lorraine’s was so yummy. We loved the food. Definitely worth your money. You will have fun!

The perfect excursion - Such an amazing excursion! I’ve been to the Bahamas many times and this is the best bang for your buck. The exuma islands are the prettiest water I’ve ever seen and all the animal encounters were amazing.

The Highlight of Our Bahamas Trip—Ask for This Crew! - Our Born Free charter was originally scheduled for Monday, but because there weren’t enough people booked for that day, the team graciously moved us to an earlier charter. Their flexibility was greatly appreciated—and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip!
Captain Ricardo, Captain Navado, and Jasmine were phenomenal from the moment we stepped aboard. Their energy was contagious, and they had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves throughout the entire excursion. They weren’t simply operating the boat or guiding the activities—they were genuinely engaged with the group and made the experience feel fun, personal, and special.
They continuously checked on everyone, kept the drinks flowing, and made sure that every guest felt comfortable and included. We especially appreciated that they found ways for everyone to participate in each activity, even if someone didn’t want to get into the water. Nobody was ever made to feel left out or pressured. That level of thoughtfulness and attention truly set this crew apart.
The atmosphere on the boat was lively, relaxed, and welcoming from beginning to end. It felt like spending the day on the water with friends who also happened to be incredibly professional and knowledgeable. You could tell that Captain Ricardo, Captain Navado, and Jasmine genuinely cared about giving everyone the best possible experience.
We left the charter with huge smiles, amazing memories, and plenty of stories to tell. If you’re considering booking with Born Free Charters, do it—and if possible, ask for Captain Ricardo, Captain Navado, and Jasmine. They are an unforgettable team and the reason this experience deserves far more than five stars. We would book another charter with them in a heartbeat!

The Perfect Birthday Adventure in Exuma! 🎂🌊🏝️ - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Honestly, this was the best day trip I’ve ever done! We spent the full day in Exuma celebrating my birthday, and it was absolutely worth every minute The boat wasn’t over crowded which made the whole experience feel so much more comfortable and personal.
From the moment we got on the boat at Paradise Island, Captain Ricardo, Jasmine, and Joey were amazing. They were so attentive, friendly, and fun, and they really went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. They also took so many photos for us and shared historical information about the different places we visited which made the day even more memorable.
We got to snorkel around the crash site of the Pablo Escobar drug plane off Norman’s Cay , swim with the sharks at Compass Cay, feed the iguanas, swim with the pigs, stop at Black Point for lunch and visit the sandbars . It honestly felt like we were checking things off a bucket list all day!
The boat ride itself was a major part of the experience. Speeding across the open ocean seeing the beautiful clear water and just enjoying the day was such a vibe plus the fully stocked cooler was definitely appreciated everything from alkaline water, juices and several types of beer, plus plenty of snacks and munchies to keep you going.
But honestly, the crew is what really made the trip for me. Captain Ricardo, Jasmine, and Joey made us feel so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. I really didn’t want my day to ever end.
If you’re debating whether to book an Exuma trip, BOOK IT!!!!!!!! and book it with BORN FREE CHARTERS ! this one of those experiences I’ll genuinely remember for THE REST OF MY LIFE. It was such a special way to spend my birthday, and I would absolutely do it again. I would recommend Born Free to anyone visiting The Bahamas. 10/10, hands down! 💙🌊🏝️🚤

The BEST island hopping experience! - The Born Free team and their excursions capture the essence of true boating and island hopping adventures. It is clear they have a vision and brought that vision to life and to the sea!
Beautiful beaches, wildlife, food, drinks, and professional friendly staff talking you on an experience of a lifetime! I had a blast and will do it again, and again!

Good not great - Overall, I thought the experience was good. The weather was not great, and they did a good job navigating around it. The crew was also friendly and tried hard to make it a good experience for everyone.
There were a couple of things that this company could improve on overall. Within the first hour and a half to two hours they had completely run out of rum punch, leaving only beer or water for the remainder of the trip. There were three different times I asked for water and didn't receive any. The only snacks offered were chips at the very end of the trip. Not huge things, but for the price tag they could and should do better.
There were only two other boat companies out that day because of the weather and, in truth, I wonder whether they should have canceled. The trip was shorter than usual because of the weather. Again, I thought that overall the trip was good, but I think we will try a different company in the future.

Not the expected trip - We booked this activity, but at 9 p.m. the night before the trip, we received an email canceling the trip due to bad weather.
However, they offered us a half-day on another boat for a different trip or a full day on a different trip.
So the weather is bad for this trip but not the others??? Strange.
In fact, there weren't enough bookings, and they moved us to other boats that were also incomplete, as we understood from talking to the other passengers.
The weather, as predicted on the sites, was excellent all day.
So we took the half-day with the Pig Island trip.
Everything is timed, and they call us back at a brisk pace.
Friendly staff, maybe a bit too friendly, actually... Very close to the women and asks for phone numbers.
Aside from that, heavenly landscapes, a very average meal (hamburger and fries), we would have appreciated something local.
Relatively excessive price, 750 dollars for the day, reduced to 550 for the half-day.
In summary, good but not great, and above all, a not very professional way of doing things. Profit above all else.
However, these outings are a must-see for the eyes.
And for Big Island, there is Insta and there is reality... We will let you discover it, but it is much less glamorous.
