Highly Recommend. Dipak, Pemba and the team are incredible. - From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, Dipak and the team from Nepal Trekking Planner ensured everything was taken care of. I was picked up from the airport, assisted with a hotel shuffle before meeting with Dipak where he explained what to expect. I was then treated to a welcome dinner with traditional Nepalese dancing. For the trek itself I had the privilege of being guided by Pemba with Mingma assisting with my bag. I ended up being the only person on my tour but it only added to the experience. Pemba is very knowledgeable and his English is fantastic. I have never been so well looked after while participating in a tour. He was patient with me when I stopped to take photos of everything, provided useful tips to ensure I made it to the top, ensured I always had my food and was comfortable before he would eat. I am so grateful for his assistance throughout the trek. By choosing Nepal Trekking Planner I received little additions along the way that other companies do not provide such as the welcome dinner, cookies, little gift on completion, massage on return to Kathmandu. Also food is included which makes life very easy. I could not recommend Nepal Trekking Planner highly enough.

EBC Trek April 2024 by Trekking Planner Company - This was my first high altitude trekking ever and I was internally a little anxious. We were a group of 20. Trekking Planner( TP) staff Roshan, received us at the airport with warmth. We reached our hotel Moonlight which was a good pick by TP. Very comfortable place to stay, good food and cordial staff. Deepak, the owner of TP, met us at the hotel made us feel super comfortable. Everything was extremely well organized, from welcome dinner, prepping us for our trek, currency exchange, sightseeing in Kathmandu, guidance in shopping. The trek was very well managed by our head guide Avishek and all his assistant guides. I did not see anyone not being attentive when they were with us. They had the best porters🙏, best personal assistants, Umesh was mine 🙏, best Tea houses all through and through. One of our members fell sick and without any hesitation Avishek carried her on his back. That’s Trekking Planner culture, to be there for you all the time while trekking. You want to trek to EBC, Trekking Planner it is and ask for Avishek and Dikshya team.

Mesmerizing and Memorable EBC Trek - EBC trek is considered amongst luxurious trek in Nepal by some locals because of the amenities available on the trek but don't think of it as an easy walk in the park trek by any means. It does have it's set of challenges especially with respect to the elevation. Our group of 4 finalized and booked our EBC adventure trek with Trekking Planner after through research. One of the main driving force for making the decision was to try and support a local company directly rather than go thru one that will subcontract. And, I'm very happy to say that our decision paid out very well. Starting from out first conversation with Dipak and all the other conversations up until our arrival in Kathmandu felt very patient, responsive, accommodating and above all genuine. He addressed each of our long list of questions professionally. I say that because there was a slight doubt in our mind about how things will work out in person when we finally arrive especially when working with total strange in a different country. To start with, we received a very warm welcome at the airport pick by Roshan, Shriyas and Roshan. Our first meeting with Dipak was pleasant and that's when we had the assurance that our decision of selecting Trekking Planner was correct. Due to near last minute change of plan in our itinerary, Dipak had to make special accommodations for our Kathmandu to Lukla trip and he ensured that our trip started without any delays which have us yet another assurance of our decision to go with Trekking Planner. The next and the main part of the trip, actual EBC trek, turned out to be even better. It started out on in interesting note because when we landed in Lukla, we had to wait about 15 of minutes for our guide, Ananta, and porters, Nawaraas (Kaka) and Roop(chandra), to arrive. It made us bit nervous but that was short lived. Ananta, our amazing guide; albeit somewhat shy at first, made sure that we had a safe, enjoyable and most importantly memorable trek. He was very patient, professional and caring throughout the trek and ensured that our group was well taken care of by giving us his expert advice, ensuring that we were well informed about next days plans and giving tips on preparation for it as well as setting expectations on what kind of changes we may experience with altitude gains and even going above and beyond with making necessary minor changes to our accommodation and meals that would provide us best possible comfort. When one of us had health related challenges, he made couple of bold decisions in our best interest and ensured that we all completed our trek successfully. The part where I felt he left a lasting impact on us was the way he handled the health issue for our group and making sure that whenever possible we were able to informe our loved ones back home of our trek progress and health. By midway through the trek, Ananta didn't seem like our guide; rather he had become one of us. We spent time sharing lots of stories, experiences, jokes and playing cards. On a personal note I want to mention that, I asked so many questions on the trek and not once I got a feeling that Ananta was getting tired of annoyed of answering them ( at least he didn't show any signs of that :) ). I really want to thank him for that since some of those questions, especially the ones about the peak names, got way too repetitive. I also want to call out both Kaka and Roop for helping with carrying our bags daily. It is just amazing how they have the endurance and strength to do that everyday and keep an always smiling face, no matter what time of the day you see them. A special call out for them and Ananta to help carry out backpacks to/from Gorekshep to EBC when it felt most challenging. Thank you Dipak, Ananta, Kaka and Dipak for making our trek a very memorable life time experience that we'll forever Cherish and reminisce. Last but not least, a call out for Abhishek/Diksha for an excellent farewell dinner and amazing evening as well as Roshan for taking us sightseeing in Kathmandu post our trek and getting us to the airport for our return flight. We would highly recommend Trekking Planner to anyone planning to do any trek in Nepal. Dipak and his team have set such a high standard which far exceeded our expectations that we cannot recommend them enough. We'll surely be looking for them if/when we decide on another Nepali trek.

Excellent service by Trekking Planners. Great fun! - Our package with Trekking Planners included an 8-day hike from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp, with a helicopter ride for our descent, and a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Dipak organized our itinerary exceptionally well. We were a large group of 20 and needed to make adjustments to the luggage that needed to be carried, and they accommodated that without any issues. The guides, especially Abhishek and FT, were very helpful in addressing the group’s needs, answering our numerous questions, and taking care of health concerns. We were provided a variety of food items at the tea houses, and the quality was fair enough. I wasn’t expecting much at the higher altitude tea houses, but they definitely met my expectations. The Kala Patthar hike was optional, but I do wish we could’ve summited it. Some of us were able to hike Kala Patthar partially as we had to get back down in time for the helicopter ride. The sightseeing in Kathmandu was well organized, and we comfortably covered the main attractions. All in all, we had a great time and left with wonderful memories!

Nepal Trekking Planner is 5* - We were a group of 20 from US who booked the Everest Base Camp Track hike with Nepal Trekking Planner in April 2024. Working with Dipak for our trip planning was simply amazing from start to finish as him and his staff was very responsive, promptly addressing our questions and providing options, suggestions and tailored the itinerary according to our desires. Best experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with the support of Trekking Planners! - We were a group of 20 friends that trekked to The Everest Base Camp. Trekking Planner just made it happen for us. It all started with the detailed planning: No question was silly or no need or want was unfulfilled. We had veteran trekkers and newbies like me in our group. Dipak Lamichhane was there for our group and available in spite of his busy schedule and supporting other trekking and touring groups at the same time. His attention to detail, and focus on Safety while allowing us to all have a good time, soak in the beauty, all the while making us focus on the prize is unmatched. All the other porters and helping hands ensured that our trek was successful and comfortable with a special shoutout to Dikshya, FT, Thuldai, and Ranjan. Our group was successful and we enjoyed our time To and at the Everest Base Camp! We also enjoyed the beautiful and historic Kathmandu City tour that was included in our package.
