Jiri To EBC WOW !!! - Our journey started in Kathmandu with a bus to Jiri/Bhandar. Our guide and porter travelled with us. From there we walked to EBC, back over the Chola pass and back to Lukla. It took 21 adventure packed days and was the most incredible, toughest, inspiring, awesome thing we have ever done. Shailesh organised everything perfectly. From collecting us at the airport to ensuring everything at the hotel was good and keeping in contact with us through our trek. Then getting us the only flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu!! Even to providing a meal at his house on our last night. Bishnu our guide and Tek our porter were nothing short of angels!! Both were absolutely amazing!! They were so very supportive. Very aware of our safety. Their expertise helped us through many challenging days They could not have looked after us any better. I honestly dont think we would have found a better guide or porter anywhere on earth!! Bishnu had such knowledge of the area and mountains, and was always cheerful and fun. He knew what we needed before we did ourselves and always arranged each day to accommodate us. The tea houses we stayed in, he always made sure we had good rooms and we enjoyed our time in all of them. Even one morning when we didnt eat breakfast as we werent hungry, but then we had taken so long to cover the miles to our stop we were flagging. (Mainly due to the altitude and the cold and the terrain.) Bishnu sent Tek on ahead to buy food and hot water and bring it back to us. So dear Tek covered a whole lot of extra miles that day and we had a hot "picnic " I highly recommend Nepal Trekking Routes. Shailesh the owner is extremely responsive to any communication. We were nearly 2 years organising our trip and he replied almost immediately to every contact we made to him. Thankyou so much to the whole team of Nepal trekking routes. you made our dreams come true in the most enjoyable and safe way! You are all amazing and we cant wait to book with you again.

Highly-recommended experience - The trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp was a great experience and a challenge. The path was steep, the lodges were ascetic, the air was thin (at least during the last couple of days), but everything was manageable. The views of the Himalayas along the way were magnificent and made the whole journey worth doing and re-doing. The acclimatization was gradual so I didn't experience any of the mountain sickness symptoms. The return by a helicopter saves time and energy after the final point of the trek has been reached. The team who organized the trip and were helping along the way - Shailesh (boss), Bishnu (guide) and Bupal (porter) - were very caring and flexible to our needs. To sum up, this experience is highly recommended.

Exceptional Experience - Nepal Trekking Routes you guys were amazing. They were great to deal with from organising extra hotel stays to adjusting our trek by skipping a rest day (totally our choice) and organising our flights back on time without asking! Mr Bishnu was amazing! He was such a delight to have him along the way with plenty of laughter and jokes! He took care of us by checking on our health and ensuring we were comfortable each day. I loved that he would always walk behind us without fail so we could set the pace. He was always putting us first - Thanks Boss :) I would highly recommend the guys at Nepal trekking routes, very professional, organised and so easy to deal with! Thank you for organising a one in a life time experience for us. Skye & Dan

wonderful experiences - In the beginning, I signed up for a group but no one signed up for the same date with me so I ended up doing a solo trip to Everest base camp with my guide and also my porter, Mr.Santa. I was a bit worried at first but then I found lots of friends during the trek to EBC. Mr.Santa took great care of me, always walked behind me to check if everything was going well. Mr. Sheilesh came to the airport to welcome me and dropped me off at the airport at the end of the trip. He was also very kind and open to modifying the plan as I requested. I had a beautiful time in Nepal and wonderful experiences during my EBC trek.

Everest Base Camp Trek w/Helicopter Return - This tour was great from start to finish and Nepal Trekking Routes assisted every step of the way. Even with some flight delays and cancelations getting to Lukla everything afterward was extremely well organized and I was able to make it to Everest Base Camp. Although I was the only traveler on the tour, I enjoyed being able to go at my own pace and had a great guide and porter for the journey. I am very happy I chose to return by helicopter as this allowed for many extra days to visit other places. I reached out in advance of this trip as I wanted so try getting to Chitwan, and sightseeing in and around Kathmandu. All of my questions were answered and I was able to do everything I wanted while in Nepal. I can't recommend it enough to travel with Nepal Trekking Routes!

Everest Base Camp: we did it!! - I was a little bit afraid: would we all be able to reach the Everest Base Camp? It was a physical challenge at this altitude, for which we couldn’t prepare ourselves, even if we hiked a lot in the Alps the months before our journey to Nepal. We did it, also thanks to the great team! The tour was very well organized, allowing us to acclimatize to the increasing altitude and the thinner air. Our health was accurately monitored by our guide, on top of his organizational work, and I felt safe at any moment. We had also to learn the right rhythm for the hiking. The landscapes were spectacular, the tour was amazing. The mountains, which were always visible in the morning, were incredibly high. Then, during day, the clouds arrived and only allowed us to see parts of the landscape when they moved. The hanging bridges were impressive but even I achieved to pass them. It was great!! Thank you Narwin, Raj, Okil and Kumar! And also to Shailesh and his wife for the back office organization!!

EBC Holiday-experience - Together with our guide Navien we hiked to the Everest Base Camp. I am giving 5 stars, because our travel agency was reliable, flexible and careful, our trip was safe and well organized, and because we had an amazing experience. Travelling in off-season can be challenging sometimes, because villages might be empty and a lot of hotels are closed; Navien successfully managed our accommodations and restaurants. Apart from the unforgettable views, the EBC-track is remarkable for its soustainable tourism, as no street for automobiles has been built for construction purposes. Every house you see on your path is built with local materials and sherpas carry only the most important things like wooden walls and food up the mountains. Thank you guys for showing it to us!!!
