Great Guide/Great Trip - Despite some weather challenges our party of two had a great adventure on a short Everest trip. Shiva was our guide and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Shiva to guide on trips to the Himalaya!

Trip of a lifetime - After reading Erin's March 20, 2024, my first reaction is "TOTALLY AGREE!!". OK - I should also explain, I was the "friend" referenced in her review, and we were in Nepal as volunteers with the Fuller Center for Housing - Global Builds. After our week as volunteers, which was an incredibly rewarding and amazing experience, we were fortunate to top off that experience with a "Two Day Lukla" adventure. It was truly amazing, breathtaking and an adventure of a lifetime; - - a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, with its "thrilling' airport, - - a private helicopter ride - - touching down on Kala Patthar (5550m), before lunch at the Hotel Everest View (3880m), and a night stay in Lukla (2840m), - - before returning to Kathmandu, by way of the "Tenzing-Hillary Airport (LUA). > Binod Sapkota - Nepal Trek Adventures deserves recognition for coordinating this amazing adventure. > Dipak - A thank you - for escorting us, on our "trek" through Lukla. > Shiva - last, but by no means least, deserves a special thanks for being our Kathmandu guide/host. His graciousness, kindness, persistence, along with his knowledge of Kathmandu, truly made the trip so much more than expected. In a separate, afternoon tour, Shiva helped me see parts of Kathmandu, e.g. national stadium, that were off the beaten path, but amazing sites. Shiva also accompanied each of us to KTM on our departure day- - presenting us each with a beautiful gift (scarf). From our experience - Nepal Trek Adventures - is highly recommended. Just one suggestion, two-way communications will be essential and, with this team's busy schedule, WhatsApp, versus email, may be the most effective means of communication. Hoping to trek to basecamp on our next visit!!

Top Notch Team - The team of Binod, Shiva, and Dipak worked together seamlessly to provide a dream tour for me and my friend. We had just ended a stay in Kathmandu working with a volunteer group to build a house North of the city and wanted to cap our trip off with a once in a lifetime experience of a 2-Day Lukla tour, with a private helicopter tour and touchdown at Kala Patthar and Everest View Hotel. This trip did not disappoint!!! From start to finish, the level of hospitality that Binod and his team offered was above and beyond. Binod met us at our hotel for an overview of our trip and helpfully answered all of our many questions. Shiva went out of his way as our guide in Kathmandu, performing multiple airport pickups and dropoffs and even went so far as taking my friend on a private tour around the city! Dipak was our guide once we landed in Lukla and handled all of our baggage, questions, and requests with professional hospitality and a great sense of humor! He handled all of our plane/helicopter tickets, park permits, meals, and tea house reservations, which kept us from having to focus on the logistics so that we could simply enjoy the incredible surroundings. There are so many good things to say about this group, but I feel the most important and helpful thing that Binod offered, was constant accessibility through WhatsApp while we were there. He made it known that he was available to help us in any way he could, at any time during our stay. Top notch!

One in a Lifetime Adventure - It was such an adventure walking to Everest Base Camp. Everyone needs someone to rely on in this one in a lifetime situation. I chose "Nepal Trek Adventure". Saying they are good is not enough. They are not just good. They are the Best in my case. Years in the field, Binod and Shiva are a union made in heaven. Binod was there when I was struggling to find an Insurance which proven to give me worry free. Most importantly, I got not just an experienced guide, Shiva is the Expert and super efficient. One morning around Everest Base Camp. People said it was -20°C. I couldn't believe myself how I was conciously choosing to be in such a situation. The super long cold walk with snow here and there from Lukla to EBC, and back. Tried to prepare physically and mentally but still, it was shocking in many ways for someone from a tropical country, Indonesia, like me. Here is where a trustworthy trekking company is crucially needed. Anything happens, I have them. My guide, Shiva just knew what to do, how to do, and his suggestions were all on points. Thank you, Nepal Trek Adventure, for your service. Thank you to all Nepali for being the Guardians of the Great Mountains. It was an honour to be able to feel and touch Everest.

Unforgettable trip and the perfect wedding! - Binod and Shiva organized an unforgettable and once in a lifetime trip for us to EBC with heli return via Gokyo Ri - where we got married! They customized our trip exactly the way we wanted and fitting in a relatively tight window, but kept everything flexible enough that they had contingency plans and backups at every step in case of altitude sickness, weather or other complications. Teahouses are often pretty bare-bones especially off the main trail and as you go higher, but Shiva always seemed to find us the best rooms and we appreciated little touches of “luxury” when we got them, like charging or hot showers in the room, and our stay at Hotel Everest view! Binod did a fantastic job of explaining to us what to expect on the trip and very honestly preparing us for what our accommodation would be like at various stages and how the helicopter transfers would work. Shiva our guide was excellent, patient, great company and a formidable ludo player. For our wedding, they arranged for a Lama to trek from Monjo to conduct a ceremony on the top of Gokyo Ri at 5367m! They also included a photoshoot back at our hotel in Kathmandu with Bijay, who is a professional photographer. We chose Nepal Trek Adventures for 3 main reasons: 1. Great ethical credentials - Binod used to be a porter and guide and is general secretary of TAAN, and heavily involved in charity work in Kathmandu 2. The ability to get a helicopter from Kathmandu (saving the long drive to Manthali Airport) 3. They accept credit card payment, which we needed for our trip insurance. Although, like most companies they do prefer cash. All in all we were blown away by the trip, exceeding our expectations in every way, and we can’t recommend them highly enough. We will be back! One tip for travellers, take plenty of cash, and be prepared to tip your guide and porter well. You’ll get a real appreciation for just how much they do for you and how incredible they are!

I did the right choice - I did the EBC Gokyo and Chola Pass Trek with Tribhuvan. What to say? This adventure went beyond every possible expectation. The amazing trek has been made possible by the organization of Tribhuvan and by his skills. During all the time we spent together the only things I had to think about was enjoy ing the trek and have a good time! He thought about the accomodations, the food etc. I highly Recommend him as a guide, and I recommend Nepal Trek Adventures as agency. Binod, the manager, is the best problem solver and organizer I could find. That's a really good choice for a trek in the Himalaya.

On top of the World!! - Everest was calling … I had one goal and that was to make it to EBC. What I didn’t plan for was the incredible journey that lay ahead. Binod and Shiva were amazing and made the trip such a breeze. I had no worries. Just show up and hike. They took care of all the details. The made sure I was safe and happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better trekking team. I will never forget the moments I spent in those mountains. Can’t imagine booking this trip with any other company. Nepal Trekking Adventure is top notch professional.

A 62 year old’s Himalayan Adventure - Had a customised solo trip last year. Supposed to be with my son but scheduling conflicts made it a solo trip. It’s important to have a flexible tour operator. In my case I wanted to experience certain sights, like the highest hotel in the world at 13,000 ft, trek for 5 days, experience a helicopter ride - all with making provisions for bad weather related reschedules. Worth making a Himalayan trip for lifelong memories
