Eureka Springs Tram Tour

Absolutely wonderful tour! Saw all that I had hoped to see with such efficiency and ease. Made for a delightful afternoon. Your tour spokesperson was awesome! Couldn’t have been better. I’ve been to Eureka Springs many times but have never taken the tour. What a mistake that was. This tour needs to be the first thing you do!

The tour giude was awesome the tour was informative. The service was efficient. The driver was nice. The city hired a construction crew that blicked the roads the tram was on. No notice no signs redirecting traffic like you experience with any other construction company. They roadblocked and and essentially jailed about 80 mostly older people on a fairly warm day, not once but 3 times. I got so I just wanted to get off and walk back but remembered how far the terminal was. We must have sat for a total of 30 minutes 3 separate times bringing the 90 minite tour to just a 60 minute drive with a 30 minute stop. The mayor and the city really hurt the tram business and the tour guide said she never had this happen in her 20yrs. Wierd I would pay money to sit then be so offput to have to sit but Im the kind of person who makes effort to not be in claustrophobic situations. I will drive 30 minite around a 10 minite traffic jam.

First of all, our tour guide was fabulous! He was SO knowledgeable and fun. Other than being very hot, the tour was going great until our tour was diverted. A transformer had blown downtown and from what I understand, the front office told our driver to go up an impossibly steep road. The tram was full and as we started up the street, the tires started slipping and we’re very close from sliding down the street. As soon as we were stopped and weren’t slipping, we all had to jump out of the tram. We didn’t wait around to see what was going to happen, because we weren’t getting back on that tram. The whole situation was very scary and could have gone so bad. The tour guide and driver did the very best they could but got put in a bad situation by the front office.
