  • DMZ - Korea’s DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is a military demarcation zone between North and South Korea, where military activities are prohibited. It remains a significant symbol of division on the Korean Peninsula since the Korean War.

Ron Han delivers! - Even though JSA, the most interesting landmark was closed, The tour exceeded my expectations. Especially Ron Han, our tour guide was excellent. He kept good pace, wwas punctual. Moreover he provided timely and interesting tidbits of history and trivia about the war and current situation. The underground tunnel was terrifying, and obaervation posts was quite incredible and bizarre. We were told we were lucky to get a clear day with high visibility, and we saw many north koreans going about the day. Overall, very satisfying experience

DMZ tour was great! - Han was very informative and shared a vast knowledge of the history and current status of North and South Korea. Deducting one star because there was not enough time for lunch within the long day. Also deducting because of the stop to the amethyst shop, total tourist trap that was unnecessary.
