Sparkling water and delighted kids! 5 stars! - Best part of our Vanuatu trip. The water is pristine. We got transfers there and back from the owner who told us a lot about island living, local customs and answered our questions. We went with our four kids, the 2 oldest LOVED the suspension bridges and zip line. The playground entertained the little ones and we had to drag them all out of the river (off the inflatable tyres) at closing time because they couldn’t stop going down the little rapids. We also booked the BBQ lunch which was a very generous size, and the fruit platter was interesting with familiar fruits plus a local one called Sapodilla (delicious!). I haven’t stopped raving about it. We have 4 kids and the place was so relaxing to be in. If I’d been here earlier in the trip we would be going a second time. This is a very special place. It is clear the owner is a real asset to Vanuatu, she treats the staff very well and speaks the local language fluently.

- This is a beautiful river, cascades and forest. Walking in the forest and swimming in the river was fantastic. The restaurant/bar was pleasant. Everything is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms and changing area are among the best I have seen in Vanuatu. There is a playground for kids. The swimming area at the river is safe and clean.
The bridges of Eden is a bit pricey and not very exciting. You walk over a few swing bridges over the water where you swim and have one short zipline. I would recommend the lower price entry to the swimming area rather than the higher price for the bridges. This would give access to exactly the same place to enjoy the beautiful river and swim in it underneath the bridges, but not to cross the bridges. I was hoping for a longer forest walk but it is quite short.
All the staff are polite and helpful.
I definitely recommend Eden on the River rather than the other place slightly further downstream on the same river.

Must-Do - Highly recommend this experience. We booked our tour ourselves instead of with the cruise company.
We got picked up from the harbour and later dropped off in town (she would have dropped us off at the cruise ship but we wanted to see the independence celebration).
The rain forest walk, swing bridges with zipline and a swim in the river is amazing. We had all the time we wanted. Afterwards we got a test plattern with different fruits, very yummy.

Super fun! - Our two kids and even my mom loved our time here. Swimming with the inner tubes and the rope swing were the best!

Highly recommend! - A wonderful treat activity. The scenery was stunning, the bridge walk fun and the swim delicious. We were picked up and dropped off in Port Villa by the owner which made getting there easy. The staff were lovely, informative and helpful. Highly recommend.

The tranquillity of Eden on the River - During a P&O Encounter cruise we had the option given where and what to see and do and since we were at Eden on the River before and had a great time, why not, we went there again for a day. As expected, another great Eden, warm welcoming reception. Surrounded by smiling, happy people our rainforest like garden of Eden experience with a bit of drizzle from heaven did not damp nor disappoint. Still the paradise as we remember it with the personal thoughtful tough of Eden's Angels, geared up for the hanging bridges walk first, followed by cascading fresh water experiences, walks trough the estate and chatting with the custodians about past and present challenges that living in paradise brings within. We were offered to sit and sample the tropical fruits of the gardens during a get together and in no time we had to get ready for the drive to the cruise ship terminal to continue our cruise, bye, bye Eden until next time!

The absolute best - Booked directly instead of through cruise ship and was an absolutely amazing experience. Very safe and well done, will 100% do again. Remember to bring reef shoes or similar for swimming as the rocks can be a little sharp in places.

Oasis in the rainforest - Amazing oasis of tropical plants. You get dropped off at the reception and put on harnesses to go for a rainforest walk and then climb across 3 wood and rope bridges and finish off on a short zip line. Incredibly safe with staff at rack stop point to move your carabiner across to the next ropes. You finish up at a beautiful swimming pool in the middle of waterfalls you can slide down.
We went with our granddaughters, 6 & 9, and they could easily do it all but are quite confident with that kind of stuff.

Good if you looking for a swim in fresh water - Just a swim and at the end we did a walk.
Not part of a tour but we popped in for a dip
Water was refreshing and we spent a good hour just chilling. Not too many people which was good as we were on a cruise

Bridges of Eden - We came here through the cruise we were on. A fun experience with staff positioned at each of the bridges to get you on to the next one with a small zipline ride at the end and then a swim. Bags were left at the top when we started and were waiting for us at the end by the river then the tour finished with a lovely fruit platter.
The gaps between the steps were bigger than expected which along with the rocking on the bridges made it a bit tricky in parts
