*You must be in great physical shape to do this hike. Walking 3 miles a day on flat land will not prepare you for this hike. We climb up 2x the height of the Empire State Building at high altitude. You must be in excellent cardio condition, plus strength train to prepare your legs for the rocky terrain and constant uphill for miles at a time.

Features: Alpine lake, views of Long’s Peak, waterfalls, wildlife, wild flowers, rock scramble

Description: This is one of the most scenic hikes in all the Rockies. We’ll get an early morning start through the forest and pass by several pristine waterfalls on our way up above tree line. Once above tree line the views will open up in all directions. We won’t rush, but will move at a moderate pace throughout so that you have a chance to really take in the magic of this area. There will be plenty of rest breaks throughout for snacks and photo opportunities.

After booking, you’ll receive an email with details on what time and where to meet, how to prepare for the trek, things to bring, and what you can expect the day of.
