Surf Rental is a great way to enjoy time in the sea and catch a few waves. Explora Watersports is lucky to be located right on the beach in front of the best beginner and progression wave spot in Essaouira. The beginner spot is right in front of our centre where the waves are smaller and slower which gives you the chance to pop to your feet and perfect your stance. The intermediate spot is just to the left where the swell is not protected by the island so the waves are bigger and faster. Explora Watersports offers board rentals right on the Essaouira coastline for those eager to ride the perfect wave and bask in moments of serenity between swells. Our surf equipment is accessible to anyone who can swim and meets the age requirement of 15 years or is supervised by an adult. It’s advised to have some fundamental surfing knowledge beforehand. Options range from half-day to a week-long gear rental, which includes a surfboard, wetsuit, and full access to our amenities (such as showers, changing rooms, and Wi-Fi).
