Explora Watersports is one of the only watersports centres located right on the beach at the optimum spot for kitesurfing. All of our instructors are fully qualified and we have brand new equipment each year. We are a famliy run business who’s aim is to ensure you have a great time with us on and off the water.

Highlights
- Explora Watersports: Kitesurf, Surfing and Windsurf Centre Essaouira Morocco - Kite Lessons. We offer kite lessons from beginner introduction and courses through to advanced lessons to learn a new trick or master kiting in the waves.
If you are a beginner we would recommend a 8 - 12 hour course to take you through the first three stages of learning how to kite. This will get you to the water start stage so you will have hopefully ridden your first few metres by the end of the course.
If you have limited time you can join us for a 2 hour introductory session.
If you have already kited before then you can have anything from a 2 hour or more progression lesson. This is tailored to your level so you will meet the instructor first to explain your level and experience, he will then agree your focus for the course.

First time kite surfing amazing experience with Essaou - My first time kite surfing. My instructor Essaou was very professional. A very good teacher helped me learn to kite very quickly. Highly recommend. Overall very fun experience. Thanks especially to Essaou

Semi-Private Kite Lessons with Karim - We received great help and guidance from our teacher Karim. Fun guy that really knows what you need to improve and always has an eye on you in the water. The kite school is also very well organized, flexible with lessons time & good in communication. I really recommend Karim & the kiteschool :)

5/5 for Abdo and the team. - I pre booked 2 hours for my partners Birthday, I then paid for 2 more sessions as he was that impressed and was excited to get in the water.
He said he can't recommend the School and Abdo enough, we will be back!

Great experience for beginners! - Karim was such a great and fun instructor! Very clear explanations and super encouraging! First time trying kitesurfing and in a 2-hour group session you wont be touching any boards - its more about learning how to manoeuvre the kite. Also, do note that for last minute booking, the agent may not be able to provide pickup service - good to call and check.

Amazing experience!!! - Inspired by the colorful kites in the sky we dared to try out this for us new sport - kite surfing. We booked a 6 hour group lesson split into two days and were positively surprised that, for the most part, it was just us three with one instructor. Youssef did a great job introducing us to the new sport and teaching us the basics. During the lessons we learned how to set up the equipment, handle the kite on land and in the water as well as different body surfing techniques. We finished our lesson with a first try at water starting with the board.
We can definitely recommend the kite surfing courses at Explora for any beginner.
Their equipment seemed spotless, the people working there were super nice and honest and it was in general an amazing experience that leaves us hyped for our next kite surfing experience!

Good surf vibes - These guys are very good in their job. Friendly, chill and good vibes. The equipment is good as well. Can’t wait untill their coffeebar is open. Good luck with that and i will come back for sure.

Fun 5 days of kitesurfing - Very nice experience. It was high season so a bit busy and chaotic. But the instructors are experienced and very friendly and they make it all work. Above all, Marta is an absolute gem. She really cares about her clients, making sure everyone is having a good time from start to finish. Such a sweetie.
