  • Essaouira - We leave early in the morning after breakfast at around 8 a.m. Our journey takes around three hours until our destination. We first visit the old port of Mogador, built by the Portuguese in the eighteenth century. The town of Essaouira is perfectly sheltered by impressive walls and is largely pedestrianized. From the walls of the port of Skala you can see the colorful fishing port below, as well as the fortifications and the Spanish cannons.

Essaouira attracts many visitors annually with its GNAWA music festival in mid-june. If you want to get out of Marrakech and enjoy some cool sea air, Essaouira is an excellent destination. The perfect place to sample some delicious grilled seafood. The excursion to Essaouira is advisable to escape Marrakech and enjoy the cooler air. Awesome easy experience - absolutely perfect, super trust worthy but also flexible at the same time, When we decided to the city we decided we wanted to stay the night. We were worried it might be harder to return but thanks to Come to Morocco we didn't have any issues whatsoever :) super smooth experience and very tailored to our last minute decisions :)

Nice Privat Day with Rachid - 3h ride to Essaouira with stop for breakfast, Arganfarm and pictures from the goats in the tree’s. Then we had min. 3h in the oldtown. After a short break on the beach we drove back to marrakech. Thanks to Rachid for the beautiful day 💪🏻🇲🇦👍😉

good knowledge of attractions - our tour leader, Rachid, took us to places which we couldn't find if we were not using his tour. we had great time in this tour. Rachid , our tour leader, was great , friendly, and trustworthy. He knows good restaurants and locations, which all were nice. he was a very careful and safe driver with a good car. he even share his mobile hotspot with us. Rachid was always on time ( early). he knows many languages and can easily communicate. strongly recommended

A wonderful excursion! - This excursion was a very relaxing experience with stops along the route to rest and eat, visit an Argan women's Co-operative to see how Argan is processed and purchase some products, if wanted (no sales pressure) and plenty of time in Essaouira to spend on the beach, have lunch and explore the Medina. It was a great break from the heat and busyness of Marrakech, well worth the price and Rachid was an excellent driver, prompt and professional. I would highly recommend this excursion or any other excursion with Come To Morocco day tours.

Great tour!! - I met Rachid randomly in Marrakech while I was walking around the Medina. He was so welcoming and friendly that I decided to book the day tour from Marrakech to Essaouira the very next day. He really made me feel comfortable and as a solo female traveler, that was necessary!! Unfortunately, Rachid was not the driver for the trip. I was under the impression that I would be dropped off where I was picked up in the morning but to my surprise, I was dropped off near the main square instead. This was a little disconcerting as it was getting dark and I did not have data on my phone to find my way back to my riad (luckily, I had it starred on my google maps). Other than this, it was a really great trip and I cannot recommend Rachid enough.
