All. Safety pin. - We were with my wife and brothers-in-law in Esquel and Trevelin between October 26 and 31. An unforgettable experience. We stayed in a wonderful cabin in Ayelen Andina not far from the city center. Very comfortable and well equipped. Complete and rich breakfast. We took excursions to Trevelin (mill town) where we were greeted by a festival of colors with almost three million tulips in perfect symmetry with internal paths to follow them, surrounded by a charming setting of snow-capped mountains and pine forests. Safety pin. We also went to the Nan Fach mill-museum where we were welcomed by descendants of the Welsh pioneer Thomas Evans who came to settle the place in 1894. His great-grandson and relatives brilliantly showed us and explained the use of antique elements, machinery and carriages from that time. Among them, the mill stands out with its wheel powered by the water of a small stream that originates on an Andean slope. It currently produces several types of wheat flour, including whole grain flour. Then we visited the waterfalls where you can breathe an atmosphere full of nature and relaxation. Very good. Another trip through time was that of La Trochita with a walk through the Patagonian steppe to the Nahuel Pan station. On the way we were surprised by a copious snowfall that turned the landscape white. Finally we walked the snow-covered road to the La Hoya ski center passing through La Zeta lagoon of glacial origin, we saw a herd of guanacos very close that were observing us with curiosity. The last day we dined on exquisite Patagonian lamb on the grill while watching the snow fall through the window. The next day Esquel Nevado said goodbye to us until it was almost time to fly to Buenos Aires. Recommended trip.
