Great way to see Sal - This was a great way to explore the island. Guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Interesting to see a different side to Sal as well. So much packed into one day. Great way to start the holiday.

It's worth it! - Equipped with a cordial and super helpful Flemish lady, Liesy, a great experience. With the necessary humor she told a lot about the island, the inhabitants, the habits etc. If you don't just want to call the island a big, giant sandbox, this is a fantastic eye-opener.

One of the best organised trips ever! - We booked this trip through the TUI rep in our hotel, RUI Palace, Santa Maria. It could be considered expensive at 119 euro each! However, this is great value and comes with the added sense of safety that the trip is insured, well organised and reputable! The tour guide, Ramiro Lima is the perfect host! Knowledgeable, guest centred, relaxed and funny. His stories are informative, humorous and thought provoking. The tour is jam packed but feels to be at a very relaxed pace and always kept to time! The VIP experience is evident by the prioritised access t0 various sites with no need to que for tickets! The lunch (we went for chicken) was tasty and substantial in a beautiful setting! All in all- we cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Excellent choice - Our group of four booked this trip through the TUI rep at our hotel and it was absolutely excellent. Our guide Stefan was extremely knowledgeable. Lunch was lovely - a choice of chicken or fish, as lobster was not available. Stops and drinks were plentiful. The Blue Eye was beautiful and we got fantastic photos of that and the Mirage. Our driver was excellent too. Thoroughly recommend the trip.

TUI guide Heber was amazing - This trip was amazing, we booked it through TUI as we were staying at the RIU palace. The itinerary was well thought out with a leisurely pace accommodating all ages. Refreshments and lunch was provided which was beautiful, plenty to drink too with complimentary drinks on most stops Our guide was a TUI rep called Heber, his knowledge was amazing and really made the trip. Without him the trip would not have been as good as his interaction with everyone on our bus really made everyone at ease and his humour was great. We went on our trip on February 1st 9am -5pm ish. Paul and Rachel Thank you again Heber (apologies if spelling is incorrect) you were great.

Unforgettable Full-Day Adventure in Sal: Lobster Lunch, Salt Lakes, and More - I had the most incredible day exploring the stunning highlights of Sal, Cape Verde! This tour was a fantastic mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation, showcasing the very best of what the island has to offer. Here’s a quick rundown of the incredible places we visited: Murdeira Bay: A serene and picturesque spot to soak in the coastal beauty. Palmeira: A charming fishing village with a laid-back vibe and stunning views. Blue Eye (Buracona): Watching the sunlight create a dazzling blue “eye” was unforgettable. Terra Boa: Experiencing the natural mirage in this desert landscape was surreal and unique. Pedra de Lume Salt Mines: Floating in the saltwater lagoon was like being in another world—so relaxing and rejuvenating! Viveiros Botanical Gardens: A tranquil escape filled with beautiful plants and flowers. Lobster Lunch: The day wouldn’t have been complete without indulging in a delicious lobster lunch—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! Our guide, Ramiro, was fantastic, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the island’s history and culture. The day felt like a seamless blend of adventure, relaxation, and discovery. This excursion is a must-do if you’re visiting Sal! It offers the perfect mix of nature, culture, and culinary delights that truly capture the heart of Cape Verde. A big thank you to the team for organizing such a memorable experience!

A real treat to see the sites! - Not what I expected.. When the two of us arrived I thought it would be a different vehicle, different type. The vehicle is perfectly suited to cope with the roads of Sal, both air conditioned and a plentiful supply of bottled water. Very good driver but the highlight of the tour other than the places we went was our TUI guide, a very pleasant gentleman called Clovas. Incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited but also knowledgeable about the history of all of the islands without being political. We started with a visit to the capital which, although small, was vibrant. Next we went to the blue hole where we had a swim and were able to see the phenomenon due to perfect light conditions. Next a rather bumpy trip across the desert where we stopped to witness The mirage. Next we went for a rather pleasant lunch where the quality of the food was excellent. Next we went to the salt mines in the volcano where we experienced an unusual swim in a very salty waters where the history and conditions were fully explained to us. Finally we visited the botanical gardens where we had a refreshing drink and learned about the flora and fauna of the island. The collection of animals held at this site were kept in very good conditions. My one piece of advice if you are considering booking this trip is to not book a restaurant meal for the evening as it is a full day, and I mean a FULL DAY! We are knackered! The guide wasn't pushy and was very accommodating to all of the guests on the trip. The driver was skilled at his job. Thoroughly recommend. Some walking was needed so all of the advice about suitable footwear, sunblock, a hat etc was absolutely needed.

Paradise on Earth - A very well spent day, with a spectacular Guide, which allowed us to get to know iconic places of Sal Island and coheat its history. I do not put photos because no photograph does justice to the beauty of Sal Island and the sympathy, tranquility and joy of its people! We fell in love with the island!
