You must do this - Craig, Kieran and the team were really entertaining and knowledgable about the skies and Tenerife. Even though there was a clima, the team knew how to get the best out of the sunset. Stars were amazing. Learnt so much. Costs provided for those who were cold. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. A well run and organised team. Thoroughly recommend.

Very good guide - Amazing trip. Keiran the guide really made our trip. Thank you for a great time! Food was average but we didn't go up for a romantic meal. IT was a full moon so there was light pollution but it was great to see the moon and its craters through the telescope.

Amazing experience! - Amazing evening! Craig was a wonderful host; passionate and knowledgeable about Tenerife. The restaurant was an experience, which maybe wouldn’t book again. But the sunset with a glass of cava went down a treat! After then driving higher, we arrived at the star gazing spot above the clouds. I have never seen anything like it! Utterly amazing. This being both mine and my partners first time star gazing, and unless we’re wanting to make the trek to Hawaii or Chile it couldn’t get any better. Kieran went through everything with such detail and passion, was a brilliant tour guide! Professional photos were taken throughout the entire night, which were sent free of charge the next day too.

Great experience - Gerat experience, the guides were really documented and we learned many amazing facts about the universe. The food at the local restaurant was good (we also had drinks included). Be sure to bring warm clothes as it gets very cold in the evening (even if the organizers have many puffer jackets, which is a big plus!)

Yes, buy this tour - Excellent communication. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides who want everyone to have a great time! We were picked up from our hotel, had a filling dinner, drove the bus to Teide. Learned about Tenerife’s history, got photos & cava (champagne) by the sunset. Stargazing was fun (in my personal opinion, I wish we spent a little less time doing that). Amazing value — all photos were free too, which was a HUGE plus. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!!’

Self-drive tour - Information was sent in advance via WhatsApp. We joined the tour group at 7 p.m. at the La Granja restaurant because we wanted to drive in a rental car. The group was traveling in a large coach. The food situation was more like a canteen situation and the guests sat together at long tables. At 7.10 p.m. the plates were already on the table, there was a chicken leg and a piece of pork with some salad and 2 small potatoes. For dessert there was a chocolate cream tart. The food tasted delicious, the drinks were included. You could tell that everything was very timed, as the restaurant organizes it that way every evening (private party). As self-drivers, the food would not have been necessary for us. About an hour later, everyone drove together to a parking lot in a park further up. There was champagne there and we could watch the sunset. The guides took photos of everyone throughout the evening, which were available free of charge a day later. There are certainly nicer spots for the sunset, but there is simply no room for the coach there. After dusk, we continued up to 2100 meters to a parking lot on the street. There, the guides had already prepared 4 telescopes. The participants were then divided into an English and a German group. The German guide Hans had a huge amount of knowledge and you could tell he was passionate about this area :) Everyone was allowed to look through the telescope about four times in total and admire different stars/planets. It ended around 11:30 p.m.

Beautiful views - This tour is very good value for money. We paid just under 70 euros, and included was pick up from our hotel, taken to a restaurant for a 3 course meal, drove up to watch the sunset, drove again for stargazing, and then dropped back off to our hotel. The restaurant staff were quite rude and the food was okay. The actual tour itself was great, the sunset was lovely and Cava was offered whilst watching the sun set. The stargazing was unbelievable, an unforgettable experience. We were offered hot chocolate, and the free photos we were offered on Facebook were great :) . We were not too impressed with the telescopic viewings, but the view from the location made the tour totally worthwhile itself. The only downside I had, was the gentleman who picked us up. He really meant well, but he basically gave us a science lesson on pine trees for 30 minutes! It make the journey extra long, and to be honest quite uncomfortable. He questioned about us knowing things (really difficult scientific terms) and was quite belittling if you did not know an answer! But the tour itself was great.
