Great surf school, reliable, meticulous and very friendly surf teacher Bruno. Would highly recommend. - We organised our surf lessons by WhatsApp from the UK and when we arrived in Portugal the system was very organised with great communications. Bruno was our meticulous and enthusiastic instructor and he gave us really individual feedback and within the first day we were both able to stand on the board in the waves. We will definitely be sharing Bruno’s details with our friends and family because we had so much fun and made such great progress. Bruno was born in Ericeira and he knows everything and everybody and is happy to share fantastic recommendations for restaurants and he even booked some for us. We couldn’t have been better looked after. We were here in out of season in February but it was brilliant and a couple of days we had Bruno all to ourselves.

The best surfing experience! - I have tried several surf schools before, but this one is by far the best I've ever experienced. They boast an excellent teaching system and top-notch equipment. The organization is superb, and the lessons are always conducted in safe conditions, filled with fun and tailored to improve your surfing skills. I've never made as much progress as I have here. A huge thank you to Ericeira Waves. Highly recommended!

Best surf school around Ericeira - Super good organization - communication either via email or WhatsApp. English fluent by all members of the surf school👌 Lessons were scheduled according to conditions (weather, tide, etc) Coaches did a lot of input for improvement and were always open to answer questions. Super punctual and really good group sizes!!

the highlight of our trip! - After contracting several surfing schools, it was evident that Ericeira Waves was the most attentive. Magda helped out group of five schedule (including one child) two lessons. Miguel and Pedro were generous and profesional tutors, helping everyone on their way to surf their first wave. These lessons were the highlight of our trip to Ericeira, without a doubt. Our child didn't stop taking about surfing! Already dreaming of the next visit to Ericeira where we will for sure contact Ericeira Waves for the next surfing adventure!

Great way to start surfing - Paul Deus and Colleagues were super. We clll surfed together; 9, 18 &52 years and loved it. Much encouragement and fun! Thanks also to Bruno for sorting out the sessions.

Just take some lessons here - I did a 5 day course with Juão as my instructor. The lessons were at least as fun as they were informative. The detailed instructions of Juão had me surfing in no time. The overal vibe of Ericeira Waves is great aswel. All the teachers are really friendly and relaxed. I 100% recommend taking lessons here.

We had the best time! - After trying a couple of surf schools in Ericeira over the last years we took lessons with Ericeira Waves this summer over the course of a month and absolutely loved it! They have great equipment, are very responsive to accommodate your needs with scheduling the lessons and the teachers are super dedicated to give you the best experience possible. We're a family of four (kids are 9 and 13) with very different levels of fitness and experience and had lessons with Julien for four weeks. He made sure we all had an absolutely great time and learned a lot. Julien is great with kids, never lets you forget you're in the water to have fun and still has strong focus onto what everyone needs in order to get better without ever being pushy. He always goes the extramile to get his students the best waves and made us feel safe even when the water was crowded on some days. We loved every single lesson with Julien and can't wait to be back!
