Entrance tickets for Pompeii and Herculaneum can be purchased at the location itself.
Please note that the tour ticket does not cover the archaeological site entry fees.
Extra services such as guide services and audio guides inside the archaeological sites can be arranged upon request to cater to your complete leisure autonomy, whether you prefer solo expeditions through the ruins or want to supplement your trip with a guided tour.
- Please note: Vesuvius tickets sell out quickly. Is recommended to buy them on “vivaticket” once booked the tour. Is recommended the ticket entrance time at 11:00pm to avoid errors of choice of entrance at an inconsistent time with travel time.

Fabulous driver! - Giovanni was terrific. Good English, knowledgeable, and flexible. He gave us great information and helped us find great guide at the last minute at Pompeii (Daniel). Made a long, exciting day relaxing and doable. The van was super comfortable for four people and clean.

Getting to know Pompeii - A truly amazing tour, LUCA was a great companion, very kind and cheerful, he explained all the places to us, he had all the attention and thanks to him the 3 visits became a great experience!
They are sites with great history, Herculaneum as a prelude to Pompeii, Vesuvius to know the origin and Pompeii as the epicenter of the disaster, as a suggestion, dedicate a day only to Pompeii, which is very worthwhile.

The best part of our... - The best part of our experience was our driver Aldo. Super nice and knowledgeable.
Please read the small print. This was only transportation not a guided tour, We had to hire a guide in Pompeii and the audioguide in Herculaneum. Vesuvius was closed because the day before a railing had fallen,

Must see - The guide's enthusiam was infectious. It was a well-paced, two hour guided tour. The narrative behind the exhibit told a story of a long ago time which gave the antiquities context.

First class car service and David is an outstanding driver - Had a great experience in Naples with Di Sarno Car Service. Our driver was David and he was fantastic. He was a very good driver and knew enough about each location to give us an overview of everything. He is “working on his English” but we had NO PROBLEM understanding him at any time. We DID have a guide for Pompeii which was helpful to understand history and the engineering of the city but we didn’t need on for Vesuvius or Herculaneum. Our daughter is coming here next year and she will use David then.

Could be 5 stars with some tweaks - Francesca (guide) and Francesco (driver) were both excellent. Two things which dropped a 4 star experience to a 3 was that the private car was replaced by a minibus (and there were only 2 of us) and that the Vesuvius ticket site was malfunctioning which caused a delay waiting in the car park. What would make this a 5 star experience would be if the tickets were included and if the guide showed you around (she waited with the car).
