  • Parco Acheologico di Ercolano - The first stop is Herculaneum, which you will have 2 hours. Herculaneum - named after one of the Roman mythological heroes, Hercules - was destroyed by the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. The slow walk across of Herculaneum will allow you to observe the molding of civilization into this remote town. Buried by the same eruption as Pompeii, it’s now a marvelous historic site filled with an abundance of history and breathtaking views. These cities offer spectacular ruins, relics and interesting markings left behind by the people who did not survive the eruption.

This schedule for our ‘archaeological excursion’ starts from the prearranged location (port / hotel / train station).

Herculaneum:

Firstly, we visit Herculaneum for approximately 2 hours. This ancient city, named after the Roman god Hercules, was buried in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD.

Oplontis:

Next, you’ll have around 1.5 hours to examine the Villa of Poppea in Oplontis. Positioned between Naples and Sorrento, this Roman-era villa is frequently known as Villa Oplontis.

Pompeii:

Subsequently, you’ll get roughly 2 hours to investigate the richly historic Pompeii, a town partially lost under the harmful eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79A.D. It’s a site brimming with intriguing views that demand a firsthand experience. A visit to Pompeii promises a uniquely extraordinary adventure.

Conclusion of the tour:

At the end, our accompanying drivers will be returning to the original assembly point between 4-5pm.
