Wife’s birthday ride success - It was just my wife and I and our guide. Very private. The beach is south of the city and was mostly empty. It was beautiful.

Awesome first ride! - This was an absolutely fantastic first experience. I did my research and ended up picking this horseback ride on the beach excursion. We were on a cruise and wanted something FUN to do. My husband, two adult daughters (25 & 19) and myself were first timers and had a wonderful time. We opted for pick up. Directions were easy to follow. Horses were very well mannered and the hosts, Crystal and Alex were very accommodating. There were no others in our group, so it was like a private ride. Happily surprised at the length of the ride, not rushed or pressured at all. We loved it and can’t recommend it enough. We were even given sand dollars from the beach after the ride for keepsakes. Photos were also taken during our ride, still waiting for those to be received….cant wait to see them! If you are contemplating,

Best excursion! - We had an amazing time! We were nervous not booking through the ship because of what many other people said about Ensenada, but this was by far our favorite excursion from our first cruise and went so smooth. My husband was wanting to cancel the excursion cuz so many have said Ensenada is garbage, but I was adamant we keep it and we were all so glad I did!! We had clear directions where to meet for our ride and got in the van that had Desert Trails info on the door. We stopped at a home for a bathroom break before going to the beach to get our horses and ride. Only 1 of 4 were somewhat experienced on riding and the other 3 were brand new and nervous. They settled right in and had a blast and were so happy we did the excursion. The beach was beautiful and so peaceful. If we ever visit again we will definitely be doing this excursion again!

10/10 best ride you can take in Ensenada - The experience was amazing. The owner opened up and totally changed her schedule to accommodate a special request! I couldn’t believe how much effort she put in to make our trip happy! It is 100% worth the drive out there to meet crystal and see her beautiful ranch!

Wonderful experience horseback riding along the beach! - Crystal was absolutely wonderful, accommodating and personable! Her son was also on our trip and he was so fun and a pleasant little dude- totally made our day! We had clear instructions to meet at the pickup point and made friends with the other group that was with us on the tour. The drive was a bit long but the beach we got to was beautiful as it lined the coast. No complaints on our first experience but 2 of 6 horses went much faster than the tour as whole and I wish I was warned on how to maneuver the bounce cuz now my back hurts. The other horses were calm and very easy to ride, we enjoyed the ocean breeze, and causally horseback riding along the coast. Overall, an amazing experience and glad we booked with Viator!

Awesome horseback riding experience - My husband and I had a great time! We were picked up from the port and taken to the beach for an amazing horseback riding experience. The horses were very chill and followed directions well. We had a very relaxing and exciting ride on the beach. Our guide also took many photos of us and sent them directly to us (no charge). Afterwards, she took us to a local shop to find cowgirl boots for our daughter. She went above and beyond. She was very personable and gave us a lot of real life local perspective on the area (Ensenada) . Highly recommend this excursion!

Horseback Riding on the Beach - The experience was wonderful! We were picked up and taken to the beach for our ride. We were given horses that suited our riding experience. Fortunately, my wife and I were the only ones that booked the ride for the date and time so we were able to basically have a private ride on the beach all to ourselves. We had the full 1 1/2 hour ride on the beach too. It was not some riding down to the beach then a short ride on the beach and back, but the entire experience on the beach. It was everything my wife and I were hoping for and definitely money well spent.

Beginner rider on a cloudy day - The ocean views were incredible even on a cloudy day. It was perfect without getting sunburned. Crystal texted to make sure we didn't get lost. The 20- min ride over to the ranch took us through the city, and Crystal even showed us a local taco place, but, of course, it was closed when we arrived, on a Monday. After a short bathroom break, the horses were loaded up and off we went to the beach. I would recommend letting Crystal know your experience level so you get a personalized horse. I got a slow horse for my level, and it was perfect for a beginner like me. Alex was kind enough to help me on the horse as a short person, this was extremely helpful. After Crystal's instruction on riding a horse, off we went to the beach. There were very few local people on the beach, which made it feel like we had the beach to ourselves. My sister and I had a relaxing time watching waves go by.

Save your money! - We walked from our cruise ship dock in Ensenada to the meeting location for our ride to the ranch. The operation manager left us with a driver because she had an appointment to go to. The driver did not speak English. In addition to a long drive from the port to the ranch, we had to stop at the gas station to fill up a tire and then on the way back, stop at the gas station to put gas in the car. They were not prepared for our group. The activity description says that you will receive a bottle of water, however we did not receive any water. The good beach was not clean. Slow, long ride on the beach. The driver and the horse wrangler were nice, but could not tell our group anything about the area or the horses because they did not speak English. Very boring and uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend this experience.
