THE NARRATIVE
Convicted for 15 years for pilfering £1million, you have concealed the cash away from your gang. Now, you’re cornered in a prison cell with no exit! The fellow convicts are aware of your deeds, and they all want a piece of the money. Your only hope is to abscond while the prison is in lockdown. With just one hour remaining until the lockdown lifts, you need to act quick and figure out a way to flee your cell.

A great time doing time! - The whole experience and the way the prison is utilised is very impressive. The prison guards and inmates are brilliant and play their characters very well. Even the meanest of prisoner is really nice after the event is over. It was a great experience which had us running around the prison and doing fun puzzles.

Great place to visit - We did ‘The Cell’ escape room. Great fun, very hard but we escaped!!
Others were doing ‘The Hole’ which is in the dark, too scary for me!!
Walked around the prison afterwards which was interesting and intriguing!
Would recommend to visit.

Cell escape - Had a good time doing the escape room as a family of 4. Kept us entertained. Very cold in the cell, wear a coat. No heating and very little sunlight.

We did an escape room and a tour around the prison. Excellent staff, friendly, helpfully and happy. Will be back. - Fantastic day, staff friendly, fun and happy. Really helpful and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back for another escape room or possible a ghostly one!!!!! Who knows! Lol

Escape a real cell! - The cell escape room experience was really fun! Being in a real prison adds to the flavour and the staff were excellent.
The puzzles were challenging enough but wrap up warm as it's pretty chilly!

We had a brilliant and very informative tour around the prison. Also loved the escape room - THANK YOU! - The escape room and the prison tour were both fantastic! We did the escape room with kids aged 9-13 and they all loved it!!

Prison Break - An immersive escape from Prison. Absolutely loved it. Great actors and the tasks were challenging but fun. It was very cold inside so wrap up warm. Highly recommend the cakes in the tea room too.

Awesome! - As ex prison officers, we did not expect to enjoy this gift off our daughter. However, it was one of the best experiences!! We did the guided tour followed by the escape room. Our guide‘Graham’ was awesome. He had such good knowledge and was funny as well. A thoroughly great day out!!!

Educational but sobering - What a sobering experience this was seeing how prisoners were kept locked up as recently as 10 years ago. We did a self guided tour then the cell break. We weren’t very good we didn’t escape. A very illuminating visit though.
