Peak Performance? - We liked Snowdonia, so thought we'd take another app-powered mystery tour around the Peak District... and it was great! With only a few days and not so much sunlight around at the moment we took it easy, so we won't be topping any leaderboards, but we had fun with the riddles and found our way to some out-of-the-way places, which was exactly what we were after.

Short trip - We went to the Peak District last week in an attempt to use up all the holidays left this year. I've used cluecation's service in the summer and my explored many interesting places. It was great fun to explore the area and also keep our child engaged during the trip. I'd recommend it to anyone with small children who is holidaying in the area. Or if you are like my husband and loves going scaveneging hunt, you would enjoy it too.

Clever app, ultimately a waste of money - The app is clever how it works using GPS, we did go to a couple of places I wouldn’t have done without the app however, this is NOT a treasure as it says in the description. A treasure hunt would lead you from one place to another, this app doesn’t do that and is therefore not a treasure hunt. The ‘quiz’ they speak of is just a single question in certain locations not multiple questions as suggested. Chatsworth house, couldn’t complete that as you need to buy tickets to enter the house which cannot be bought on the door. A drive of 20 plus miles for nothing. Lots of lovely places but just not able to get near them with a car. In my opinion, a waste of money! Spend it instead on a map and do your own thing. For a real treasure hunt, if your in London check out Hidden City (not affiliated in anyway just a very happy customer)
