Must do! 10/10 exceeded expectations - This is a must do day out if in the area! So much to do and see. Recommend going straight to the top doing the ice flyer and cliff walk then you can work your way down the mountain and the activities. As of weather changes they do shut early. Only thing I was say is this is NOT a tour it’s simply tickets so you do still need to line up as if you are purchasing tickets outright and redeem your Viator ticket with mountain pass. This was a long line.. All in all was a 10/10 day and really trumped Mt Pilatus in Lucerne on activities and also price

Great activity for teens and active adults. - Active movement and transfers between activities. Many things to see and do even if you are not skiing. I do not recommend am taking little children. I loved taking my teenager. The views were amazing. Loved the ski lift ride and glacier cave. Daughter loved snow tube and ice cream.

A bit disappointing at the top with all the construction. - The coach there and back was great. I wish we had more time in Lucerne. Titlis was very well organised but once we hit the top of the mountain it was like a construction site. We also had lots of clouds so didn’t really have a great view. Beautiful town and the fish and chips at the end were yummy.

Great views… but… - Undoubtedly fabulous views and snowy vistas from the top, and scenic lake walks at the halfway cable car stop. We read the previous reviews and despite the negativity, decided to give it a try, as we feel we are pretty easy going. It is absolutely true that the top is a huge building site, which somewhat spoils the views in one direction. They are redeveloping the entire area for tourism purposes and it’s currently covered in jcb’s and diggers. It will look amazing (if you like lots of facilities at natural sites) when done… apparently 2029 finish. It is also true that apparently it has been used in Bollywood films and seems to be somewhat of a ‘pilgrimage’ for the Indian culture. The visitors seemed to be mostly Indian, large family groups, very excited. There are Indian restaurants and notices how to use the toilets in a Western fashion. We were a little surprised at the level of involvement but understand that it is a big tourist draw and must be very profitable. We are glad we saw it, but if you are looking for a natural environment there are probably other places…

It's a building site at the top, and beware the pushy, queue-jumping, Indian tourists. - Advertised as having the world's first rotating cabin lift to attract excited visitors, the overall experience was very poor. We visited as part of a tour group of 22 British senior citizens, mid-morning on Weds 18th June. On arrival, we were made to queue for almost an hour before we even got on the first stage, which is a battered, dirty, old funicular train, which was packed solid in near 30° heat, with a very much larger group of Indian tourists pushing and shoving and queue jumping, making life pretty miserable for the far better behaved European passengers. At the top of the funicular, we trans-shipped to a similarly dirty, tatty, old cabin lift, and these self same Indian passengers got even worse, pushing the Europeans out of their way so as to claim the positions with the best view out, but during the journey so many of them persisted in videoing every second of the journey on their phones, whilst turning right and left to get a different view, so instantly banging their huge rucksacks into other passengers. The rotating cabin lift is the very last one, right at the top of the mountain, but, again, the Indians pushed and shoved their way out of the battered old cabin lift to get best positions in the rotating one. On arriving at the top, we were met with a total building site, for the construction of a new viewing restaurant. We had to dodge a moving JCB and a small bulldozer, whilst watching out for liquid cement containers being swung over our heads by a huge crane, plus walkways having to pass through open-ended shipping containers, and those self same arrogant, totally inconsiderate, Indians blocking everyone's way to get group selfies of views in all directions. Apparently, the works are due to be finished by 2029. I respectfully suggest that you seriously consider avoiding this particular mountain till the refurbishments are near finished, especially if you see large Indian groups present. On this trip, we have been up Pilatus, Rigi, and Stanserhorn, which were all excellent, and very well organised, but Titlis was a very poor experience in comparison.

Great view, can be overwhelming due to Indian tourism, staffs safety standards are concerning. - I would like to begin with the view was amazing, the scenery is breath taking and it’s a absolutely beautiful summit. My concerns begin with the tourism that comes here alongside the safety standards of the staff! I was greeted by bus loads of Indian tourists, which I was a bit excited for in all honesty, it was great to see them out and about in Switzerland especially since it’s so different to there home country. They would be able to experience snow etc. I was shortly absolutely rocked by their behaviour, which I can understand to a degree. There is no personal space, shoving, pushing, screaming. We were in an elevator we got to a floor and both doors on either side opened, 17 people flooded into the elevator from both sides squishing my girlfriend and I against a wall. In my 30 years alive I have never been over whelmed in an elevator. When it came time to leave, they flooded the exit gates, jumping over fences, cutting lines, suitcases yes suitcases being swung into our legs and tripping us over. They shoved us to the side constantly. Not once did anyone apologise or feel anyway about their behaviour. In Switzerland behaviour is held at a high standard, so I obviously looked to the staff to correct at least some of this behaviour as I do understand it’s a significant location to the Indian culture and there behaviour is the norm at home. The staff did absolutely nothing, they didn’t even try to make it easy for anyone that was not of Indian decent. It’s obvious that the staff are protecting their businesses interest as they come in bus loads daily. But for someone that is from Switzerland the behaviour felt extremely dangerous, when I say we where in a 5x5 metre room and there was about 30-40 of us packed in like sardines with pushing from the back and pushing from the front please understand this is no exaggeration. I would advise upon entry if you see bus loads of Indians, turn around and go somewhere else. Extremely disappointed in the staff.

Mt Titlis Under Construction - Disappointed and frustrated. Mount Titlis is under heavy construction with all rides shut, yet there was no prior warning at the ticket counter. We were left stranded with no refunds despite the cancellations due to thunderstorms. The site is chaotic, unsafe, and not worth visiting until 2029. Avoid until construction is complete.
