Big Fun Surfing in Encinitas! - Surfing in Encinitas with Karch was a great time! He's a wonderful instructor and truly has a passion for sharing his love of surfing & the ocean! After covering the basics you get right into the water where you'll get tips, tricks and help to get you going. Make sure you give him a shout if you're in the area looking for a surf experience!

So much fun - Karch scouted for a good location and was very patient while teaching me to surf. He has a lot of knowledge that he shared. I had a great time and would definitely take another lesson from Karch.

Great private family lesson! - Great time learning to surf. We had 6 family members from 47 to 11, and Karch went out of his way to help everyone, spending extra time with the youngest kids. Karch reached out and suggested adjusting our timing based on the tide and best time for a beginner lesson. We took him up on it and it went very well! All in all great experience!

First Time Trying to Surf - It was my first time attempting to surf and Karch gave great instructions for me to follow while also making sure I was having a good time and enjoying the experience. He was very personable/friendly and gave great insight on different scenarios we encountered in the waves. I loved the whole experience and plan to try surfing again in the future!

Fantastic experience surfing with Karch - Karch is a great guy and we had an awesome time surfing with him. There were two of us in our party and both absolute beginners. Karch was was very patient explaining the basics and getting us to practice on the beach before getting us into the water so we could see what surfing is all about. If you’re from the UK, surfing in the Pacific Ocean is a bit of a bucket list item - at least for me - and Karch was the perfect teacher. His communication was friendly and prompt and the equipment we used was high quality with my wetsuit being brand new. We surfed off Cardiff Beach which was a great spot for beginners and enabled us to figuratively find our feet with rolling waves that gave us plenty of opportunity to try out our new moves. I hope to go back someday and if Karch is up for another round of surfing with a couple of beginners then so are we!
