Our journey commences at 9am from Emu Point Boat pens, offering four hours of wildlife, history, and enjoyment. This is a cruisy journey traversing through calm waters with no open sea access. Our initial stop is Green Island, which offers historical significance as Western Australia’s inaugural vegetable garden and currently serves as one of the state’s four Pelican breeding regions. We later traverse Oyster Harbour to reach the Kalgan River, where we regularly spot Pelicans, Eagles, Hawks and a diverse portfolio of other bird species. A halt on the banks of the river leads us onto a motorized wagon for an intimate encounter with Kangaroos in their natural habitat. Onboard, we serve you Tea, Coffee and a warm, savory Damper while providing a live and dynamic commentary. We then return across the harbour to dock back at the boat pens by 1pm. And did we mention, it’s a whole lot of FUN?
