Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - We pick up travelers at Chongqing hotel then get started a 4 hours driving to Leshan City. Our first stop will be the Giant Buddha.
This Giant Sitting Buddha was built in Tang Dynasty. It’s 235 feet tall, manauly carved on a giant vertical cliff by a river, overwatching Leshan town across river for over 1200 years. All residents live in Leshan Town may view this buddha, worship him and take his holy blessing everyday..
